Which is better for amusement parks?

We have season passes to Busch gardens and I use my swingpack. I can carry hubbys stuff, kids stuff, etc and still have my hands free. Also, it is small enough that when we go on rides I can tuck it beside me or behind me so I don't have to leave it.

You are lucky, they make us take off all purses, swingpacks, hats, sunglasses etc now. It never used to be that way, wonder if there was a problem and that is why they started this plan.

when i go to amusement parks i take my backpack i dont have a Coach one but i have a Ralph Lauren backpack purse that i use because i have a son too. And he likes to put all the little prizes that he wins in the backpack. But the backpack has more room.

The Swing Pack seems like my best bet but since I haven't really checked them out IRL, do you ladies think it could hold an autograph book? My daughter always takes her autograph book with her and I usually hold it cause I worry she'll leave it behind somewhere...

a disney autograph book? Absolutely. I have a swingpack and it has a front slip pocket...I'm almost positive it would fit in the front pockect (most definetly one would fit in the interior of the bag.)

plus the webbed strap is perfect for attaching pins to! heheheh

I have a few different black and browns "swing packs". I use them all the time to go to footballs, concerts, vacation and amusement parks. I love them...that would be my suggestion for you.

deweydrop, thank you so much! The autograph book fitting in the Swing Pack was really an issue for me. I almost wanted to take the book into my local Coach boutique just to see if it'd fit ok in the Swing Pack.

Everyone, thank you so much for your replies/suggestions!

You're (tPF members) the best!

In my opinion, when I go to places like that, I dont want to be holding a lot of things. But I really think going to disneyland, it should either be number one or the camera bag. But if the person has kids, then the backpack would seem fine.

lmpsola, thanks for your reply!

I have a 10 year old daughter and I usually end up carrying her autograph book and pen. I did like the Camera Bag but I don't think the autograph book would fit in it. I originally wanted the Backpack but I've never seen one IRL so I don't know if it'd be too big to carry onto rides...

According to everyone, the Swing Pack seems like my best bet.

why not bring in the autograph book to double-check? The SA's totally wouldn't mind. I know at the outlet I go to, they encourage you to "pull out the stuffing" and see if your stuff fits (and how the bag looks w/o all the stuffing in it).

About the camera bag - this one:
Coach - SIGNATURE STRIPE CAMERA BAG

I think this would be even more perfect for disney. As there is a bit more room to carry your camera and other essentials...but, it DOES look like a camera bag (and IMO, is kinda pricey!) But I think it would be perfect if you need more room than a swingpack allows.

Also - and you'll laugh...the only place in the world I'm a germ freak, is at WDW...so I get one of those purell hand sanitizer mini-bottles that comes with a "casing" that you can clip onto your bag (sold at target/walmart)...so I'm the freak at Disney with the graphic swing pack in gold with the neon pink purell holder hanging off it!

It's not Coach but I got a really cute bag while at Disney...the same size as a Swing Pack, wider, but with more pockets and such. I was able to fit an autograph book in there (We did two character breakfasts!). It's black and has a Disney logo embroidered on it. It was under $30, and I use it when I want something that holds more than a Swing Pack. I hate when my Swing Pack is overstuffed, it just looks off to me.
