But the one that gets me the most compliments EVER is this little one, a bucket bag from Hieleven!


For this one they say 'may I ask where you bought it ?!' because they want to buy it too. And it is true that it's stunning in person, especially for an unknown brand. Minimalist, gorgeous details and the quality of the leather is, to my taste, one of the best I've ever seen. Butter soft and thick at the same time, shiny like calf, and never got scratched after 2 seasons of heavy daily wear.
So I also bought it in nude for the summer but, good to know, the leather doesn't have the same finish, I was disappointed !

Lately, most compliments have gone to Mulberry Alexa and most looks have been received by custom LC LP. It's such a pop of color and people up here tend to wear mostly black after the fall hits us so it REALLY stands out!

A version of this crescent shaped Japanese picnic basket which Cult Gaia stole as their "Ark Bag." Even though the original design dated back decades earlier. It's a little unwieldy because it really takes up a whole hand to handle. It's definitely a looker though. I haven't seen anyone else wear it when I wore it out several times during summer.
