I got a lot of comments when I got my denim baggy gm all along the lines of "LV does denim how cool" but never on my mono Speedy and I think that is because they are so common-I get the most compliments on my Charlie Lapson bags. I also got a lot of compliments on my black Paddy-Chloes' leather is TDF!!!

Out of 25 or so bags many of which I have rarely used ...thusfar the most compliments received (excluding sales people who always seem to find something to compliment) have been for:

White LV Suhali (boyfriend actually loved this one and he generally doesnt get me and my bags at all)

White Gucci Blondie bowler (a lot of very straight men complimented me on this also)

Large Black Guccissima leather hobo

Black Chanel Cambon flap bag with white CCs

All of my Chanel classic bags (pink, black, navy...but thusfar no compliments on the white one)

Black Gucci barrel or bullet bag with green/red/green web (usually get the compliments when I where shoes that match the bag...when I do I get accosted by gay men giving me diva props!)

I also have an orange 'inspired by' (no trademarks) Birkin with gold hardware made with fabulous leather that I've only used once and my boss complimented me on saying it was very classy...that totally threw me...hmmm if he thinks it is real maybe he won't think I need a fat bonus lol

I have to say I have been very surprised at how I haven't really gotten compliments on my Petrol Fendi spy.:shrugs:

I get the most compliments on my off white/tan leather Her Bag (Hermes) and then strangely a 10 yr old Burgendy large rectangular tote handmade in Germany by a defunct company called Madler - it has big brass ring hardware below the handles and the the most beautiful rich looking leather and for some reason everybody compliments that bag. Nobody compliments my Hermes Yo bag (black with sublte H hardware) but the horesehair evening part of the Yo bag gets a lot of compliments (it's black and silver).

Strangers always compliment me on my MJ Stam and everyone seems to love this picture.

Most people love my LV 2006 cruise collection bag - the Cabas MM. They want to stop me, look at it, and comment that they've never seen such an LV. Some want to call LV for one, but I tell them it's probably not available anymore anywhere - only ebay! :yes: I love this bag too!
