Which handbag have you gotten the most compliments on?

My most complimented bags are cheap bags I bought while on holiday. Maybe it was the very ethic appearance that attracted people. As for designer bag, the most compliment I get is from my Chanel Boy WoC in stingray

I just bought this bag and people break their necks to compliment it - D&B Alto Evelina. Only $450 on sale. Nothing is said when I wear my most expensive bags (black Chanel & Prada).

I really think it's about visual impact. The brighter the color or more unique the shape, the more compliments my bag gets. Or do I seem more approachable for comment with a bag at a price point most can afford. hmmmmm....

I agree with you the brighter the color, the more compliments the bag gets. I collect D&B and LV. The red D&B gets the most compliment, and 2nd most is my blue LV Saint-Jacques.

Beautiful bag! And the color will make my head turn. This is also my most favorite shade of pink. Pastel colors in blue and pink are my favorites.

honestly, it's my Calvin Klein saffiano tote in cerise/orange. i think women feel more comfortable complimenting bags they can afford, maybe? i am rarely complemented on any of my luxury handbags but always get a lot of comments on my Betsey Johnson, Juicy and CK bags. never any compliments on Chanel or LV.

Beautiful color! I agree with your observation that people tend to complement 'affordable' bags more. The bag I get most compliments on is a no brand turquiose blue tote that I use when the weather is bad. Its nice to get the compliments but it kindda feels bad as well cus this no brand $30 bag gets more attention than my KS, MBMJs , Coach etc.
