Which handbag have you gotten the most compliments on?

I have a Chocolate BE & D Crawford Hobo that has gotten compliments several times and I have a Ivory BR double strap hobo bag that also has gotten compliments. It seems it is always the ones that would surprise you!

Believe it or not, I have a big, pine green, croc embossed MaxxNY hobo that is always admired. If I carry it for 7 days, I will get a compliment on five of them.

one of my recent additions- a bottega veneta in MAGENTA- gets a lot of stares and compliments (and if you read my other thread, someone actually took it off my shoulder to inspect the bag)

my pink samantha thavasa by nicky hilton star bag...don't get me wrong, i love this bag to death!! but it definitely is more of a fun bag and not really one i carry every day....i prefer neutral colors for most days and definitely a larger satchel. but anyway, girls always seem to love this bag!! i have it in teal and yellow also, but they always give compliments to the pink. i have never seen someone else carrying a real one in my area, but people always know what it is for some reason.

Lots of stares too. Heck - most of my bags garner stares at the LEAST. I think it's very difficult for a lot of people to go up to someone and compliment their bag IMO.

My Hayden-Harnett Ana frame in olive and Mercer triple compartment in currant. jchiara, the other day I saw someone on the street with a Sex Bomb in red velvet, and she probably thought I was going to mug her because I was staring at her bag!

My Mulberry Annie. I have never seen another person carrying one in my neck of the woods, and it gets lots of oohs and ahhs. People actually want to pet her. I love her.

Yup....I noticed this too.....color and patent leather seem to get the most response. So interesting.....I think it's because most people are shy/not confident about wearing a bold colored handbag!
