I voted red but honestly both are pretty perfect and would work for the same amount of outfits. Do you wear more cool tones or warm tones? That would be how to decide, I think.

Yes the Small is perfectly practical and the Mini is gorgeous, but the Mini isn't practical enough for me.
FYI here's what happened to me on my green leather Dionysus journey : first I bought the green leather in Small, but returned it because at that time I wasn't liking the rectangular Small Dionysus shape as much as I liked the more square Medium and Mini shape. So then I bought the Mini, which I loved. But I came to understand the problem with the length of the chain and found that the Mini size was too limiting for my regular use, and the Mini size wasn't enough of the beautiful green for me, and I was impressed by how wonderful and hard wearing this particular Gucci leather is. So after a while I bought another green leather Dionysus - the medium size bamboo top handle.
Of course if I'd stayed with my original purchase of the Small size I would have saved myself a lot of trouble and money :amuse::lol:
Anyway, now I'm using the Mini as an evening bag and the bamboo green leather as a smart day bag.
And I like the Small size shape now - it took some getting used to but I have a Small D in suede and it's a great bag, I love it.

Maybe you would be happiest with the Small in red and/or the Mini in green?
I definitely think I’m going to get the Small. I really love the rectangular shape and the size fits all my needs. I tried on both yesterday. I was instantly drawn to the red but everyone kept saying the green looked amazing on me.

I think I might be going for the red even though I’ve loved the green for years and years. I’m going to buy red or green this week. After that I’m on ban island for at least 5 months.

in love with green and matching green crystals.
I see a lot of brands with red bag, but rarely see any beautiful green bag like this Gucci
Yes it is so hard to find such a beautiful shade of green, Emerald is one of my favourite colours but this tone of red is so beautiful too such a deep red with blue undertones as opposed to pink or orange undertones.

Omg both look amazing!

On a side note, I didn’t know they still sell the green one. I thought it was seasonal and that I had missed the opportunity.
I think stock is different in various areas. Our store has stock of dark blue, emerald green, black, Hibiscus red and white. Makes my decisions harder lol.

UPDATE: So I decided to buy the Hibiscus Red Dionysus. It was such a struggle and I’m still not sure if I made the right decision. I’m going to try the bag on with different outfits. If it doesn’t go with my wardrobe I may exchange for the Emerald green.

My wardrobe consists of mostly black, leopard print, polka dots, floral print, white shirts, blue jeans, black denim, simple dresses and faux fur coats.

I’ve never owned a red or green bag ever but I’m branching out slowly. Thank you everyone for your feedback.

If you can find a green you're lucky because they sell out fast. I'd get the green D and then get a Hbcs red Zumi LOL
Thank you papertiger, I ended up getting the red. I feel I got it because it seemed like the safer less risky option. I find both the red and green extremely beautiful so it was the hardest decision for me. I still feel like I want and need the emerald green as I’ve listed over it for years and now I’m worried it might sell out. :(
