That's interesting, Laura! What is it you don't like about her? It's funny how sometimes you have a HG bag in mind and then it doesn't work out for you in real life! :)

How nice to see this thread popping up again. Since the last time I have seen it, I have put another bag on my "not-longer-there-but-have-to-get-it-list". Funny thing it's a Rosemary in oak or much better in lavender. So I'm also interested, why you could not bond with her. :)

I'm hovering big style over a black Darwin Rosemary atm ... o_O I love the leather and the gorgeous studs, but I'm not sure about the short shoulder strap or the awkward flap/3 strap entry ... Also, I wonder whether the studs and black combination are a bit OTT, especially on the smaller Rosemary ... Decisions, decisions ...

:) I'm not sure about the Rosy, too. I like to wear my bags cross-body and the shoulder strap is way too short. AND I can't carry heavy bags because of my back. I fear the Rosy would be too heavy and as you said a little fiddly to get in. BUT I like the look of the well worn and well loved bags so much. And the studs. Well, it's love. Let me know about your decision. At the moment there are no Rosies in my prefered colours so I can consider a while longer ;)

I can see how Rosey would work better in oak, lavender etc - the black is just so stark. It might look better on the Roxanne, with more space between the studs - I'm not sure. But this one is also Made in England - which makes it a little more special, too ... I do have a couple of other black Mulberry lovelies - a Georgie, sbs, Somerset satchel and Mabel - so I'm worried that I'll be doubling up and not even use her! Argh!!

Hehe. I think, I've seen this black beauty, too. Is it the one on npn? It's gone now. Did you get it? If so, I hope you're doing a little reveal. :D You never go wrong with black bags and I think it's not doubling up with so many different styles. Now I'm really curious, if you got another black lovely. ;)

do any of you loverly ladies know if the medium lily with nickel hardware has been discontinued as i have been checking on the mulberry website for a while and it is always out of stock :(:pullhair:

I'd love a pleated Poppy (not too fussed about colour) or a mustard Poppy. They don't seem to be on ebay or on resellers' sites very often though.

I wouldn't say no to a Roxanne, but I'm not actively looking for one at the moment.
