FrouFrou, this is beautiful on you especially against your white shirt. We are twins with this one and the color is taupe/Bordeaux. The feel of these first generation dd is so luscious and thick and I find the newer ones wrinkle more.
I am so addicted to dip dyes now that i'm not sure i'll ever buy anything else. The saturation and subtle unusual colourings are sooo beautiful.Robee has posted this amazing picture in the silky pop vs silky city and, being new to silky citys has got me thinking!

I've been swinging backwards and forward with the whole dip dye scarves issue. I'm trying to decide if I really do like them or is it the brides design that I hanker after.
The matter has been complicated by my discovery of the silky city with this design. So I guess this begs the question a/some dip dye scarf/ves or a silky city?
Do you have a dip dye and would you buy more than one?
Practicality of the silky city apart, would you prefer one of the classical colours in the form of a bag?

Old thread, but I think it definitely deserves a bump. So much dip dye eye candy in this thread.
I really like the touch and feel of a dip dye. I sometimes just love to touch mine, can't help myself, they just feel so soft.
That one is a beauty and you wear it well! Not Calvacador, but I do have the peach Concours d' Etriers...
