My first shop experience: having had lack lustre visits to Bond Street and the Selfridges concession, how pleasurable was Hermes in the Royal Exchange! Lovely SAs and helpful advice. I came home with a lovely dip dye:smile1:

Love everyones dip dyes~congrats to all~Such a huge fan of these, soft beautiful and SO WEARABLE!
Everyone looks amazing and I know you feel amazing wearing these~something really magical about this washed squares of silk~

Thank you Peri (good to see you too! :hugs:), a la mode, Boogee, and Tankertoad! I am so hooked on the dip dyes now.

pussywillow, love your Clic Clac! It looks great on you. I was really tempted by that one because the gorgeous blue colorway is so similar to the Ex Libris GM, but in the end I settled on the EL.

Here it is, my cobalt/encre EL dip dye. I adore this and I'm sure I'll be getting more.

Capulet, this is magnificent! I can barely think--just stare at you, stunned and delighted.

I'm over the moon about my one dip dye. The drape and texture are divine, maybe the best for me (aside from a much-washed 25-year-old carré I have). I'll definitely be saving my pennies for a large one like yours.

I was very tempted by the pink/red colourway too, which would suit you very well as I've now noted your colouring is dark like mine! The EL is sublime but I've only just begun....start small.....?!!!

Apols to those who have seen this before in the scarves thread, but this is the closest representation of this green that I have seen posted (thank you Nankali) There is also a cafe version that is not unlike the brown BdG from the first collection. The pale pink and khaki is so subtle that it is a quiet contender for most complexions.

I love the way the 140s are soft enought to drape and fold in a smiliar way to the cashmeres - becoming (albeit reluctantly) quite a fan.

Thank you arabesques, pussywillow, and Roo Cambonne! I am plotting to get a 90 cm dip dye now...not sure if it'll be one that's been released so far or if I'll wait to see what the next season holds.

Hermessublime no one knows the mystery of the machinations of the mercurial Hermes (mercurial that is when it comes to selling out of the very thing you wanted, less so in production of anything longed for!)- but in general scarves do tend to be around for a good few months, and things turn up at different times on the website. Fingers crossed for you - which colourway were you thinking of?

Regarding the Ex Libris shawls - does anyone have a picture to share of the vieux rose/khaki colourway? I am drawn to it but wondering if it would fit with my wardrobe. (I love H scarves as art pieces, but determined to ensure that future purchases are wearable pieces of art :p)

I'm pretty sure that I will be adding the green to my blue, and wondering if there will be a trio.

I am drawn to this colorway too, so I hope someone posts modeling photos.:graucho:

hi ladies! ^^ ask and you shall receive! here are mod pics of my new dip-dye ex libris shawl in the vieux rose/khaki colorway! it's a pretty mauve in real life and it's offset nicely by the neutral khaki border. sorry for the awful lighting in the picture.

it's my first 140cm in all-silk and must say the silk is soooo soft and wearable.
