I don’t find the bag heavy, but weight is really subjective.
I’ve had the bag a couple of years, it doesn’t look dingy. I’m careful about what I wear it with so I don’t get color transfer.

This cutie yesterday with my new strap from Amazon. It's not a perfect match, but close enough, and it's really comfy. 
Wow, this picture has everything I was looking at recently, lol. The floral embroidery Coach bags and those adorable charms from Kate Spade! So I know the cute fishies that are on the other side of the coral. Great combo, max summer vibes.
I think the colors look amazingly vibrant. Don’t be scared to use it! Use it, enjoy it, and if the time comes when you’ve worn it out and it no longer looks good, well at least you got your enjoyment out of it. That’s what it’s made for.

Feeling extra today with my Rogue 25 that has not gotten any love in quite some time!
The leather on this Nomad was a little stiff. I used a tiny bit of mink oil a few times (over the last few months) and it is really softening up nicely.

I must admit she IS becoming a little breathtaking as she softens up.
I’m going to try & use her as much as possible this summer as use along with the summer heat will help with a more “lived in” look . I think she needs that .

My sister jokingly calls me "Bags", like the dog walking service "Wags", because I'll go in her closet and carry bags she hasn't carried in a while. I'll carry them on a quick trip to the store. She calls it walking her bags. If you need someone to walk this beauty this summer to help it look more lived in my service is free!
