Which BV bag?

I vote for #3. I have that one in black and I think the slouchy hobo shape is the most classic and the most flattering. I bought the larger size because the smaller was not slouchy enough. The other BVs looked to matronly and conservative but the hobo one was just right - classic yet stylish and chic.

In any case, you cannot go wrong with a BV - beautiful leather, great craftsmanship!

Oh god, I love Stars bag! This is making things difficult....here's another view of it. Ok, I've narrowed my choices down to bag#4, or perhaps the classic hobo, in Star's style. Here's a attached pic. in the black version, front view. I found it for an amazing price on "Styledrops" website. Can you guys give me the 411 on the reliability of "Styledrops" website? What have you heard? Bag 4, vs. classic hobo? Which of these two? Either way, I'm going for black colors.

Thanks Star!
A few questions...what do you mean that "the structore of the bag [not aging] as well as the hobo"? what do you see happening?! I didn't know that brown is actually two toned! (this is the noche color bag you're talking about, right?) It doesn't look it in the the pic., plus , I only saw the black one. Does the brown look a lot different in person than in pic? Have you tried on their woven campana? If so, how does the smaller campana compare in size to the ball hobo. i have been getting some majorly mixed comments on it being the same or the campana being noticable smaller. I need them to give me a uniform answer! I hate buying stuff over the net/phone when I don't see all the choices personally, but the alternative is too wait when I'm out in London in January some time. Star, do you think the campana could be pulled off for nightime? Here's more pics. of the campana...

I definitely think that the campana could be pulled off day or night. It speaks of timeless chicness and elegance. I love how the subtle piercings recall the traditional woven leather. I actually prefer this campana to the other ones that you posted above. Knowing Bottega's quality, you can't go wrong, and it ages well too, as long as you protect it.

You might also want to check out some of the combination Bottegas, the ones with both the plain leather and the woven leather. I think they're usually limited editions, but they set each other off very well.

I think this black hobo campana is so chic and classic...love the embossed pattern and this hobo shape..

Go for #3--classic veneta hobo in the large size. I'd go with the plain woven without the embossing as it's more timeless, plus in my opinion, the embossing detracts from the buttery softness of the leather. I have tried #4 (the ball bag) and for some reason, feel like the shape is not as flattering. Perhaps it's because it doesn't slouch as much. Whatever bag you choose, I'm sure you will love it. My two BVs are my absolute favorites--so wonderful to carry and truly gorgeous with any style of dress. Good luck!
