I saw them in Nordstroms this past weekend. Relatively nice bags.

I have a medium Trigger bag in Hunter Green. The SA at Neimans talked me out of doing black, and I don't regret it at all. It can get a little heavy after putting in a few things, but very convenient. I've gotten many compliments on the bag, and highly recommend the purchase!

The E/W doesn't do it for me, and I did look at the Bianca awhile back, but it's almost a little too rugged w/ all the zippers?

I just can't get into the Bianca bag; it looks like a bra to me. I've never owned a Botkier so can't comment on the weight, but I love the styling of both the Trigger and East-west. I love that the Trigger has multiple compartments...assume the E/W does too?

Have to agree with Pseub on the Bianca. I love the styling of the East-west satchel and the aqua color in the pic is beautiful.

It's really hard to actually see a Trigger Turbo bag in NY now, so I'm having a hard time figuring out how heavy they are. I think I prefer the E/W, but it seems I will be able to carry more in the Trigger and, living in NY, it is certainly nice being able to carry something on my shoulder! Any good sources online these days?

I like the Trigger, as I have an older Trigger bag myself. It's understandable that many people find the bag to be heavy because of the clasp, but I don't think it's too bad. I actually didn't even notice that the bag was that much heavier until I read this thread and actually thought about it  If you're concerned with the weight, then I would say go for the East West.

You can find the Trigger bag at Barneys Co-Op in SoHo and I'm sure other Barneys locations have them as well. I also saw a Trigger bag in Calypso the other week, and I know for a fact that the SoHo Bloomies has the Trigger bag out for display and in stock. You can find Botkier online at eluxury.com, NM and shopbop.com. Good luck finding your bag!

trepidation dreams: Thanks for your post. Which Barney's/Calypso did you see them in? I didn't see any Botkiers (other than the Bianca) at the Madison or Soho stores. I didn't see any in the the Soho Calypso either (or any other bags, for that matters). I will check out the Soho Bloomies. It's probably a bit heavier than a lot of other bags, but it seems perfect for work. Thanks!

My friend and I were in Barneys Co-Op in SoHo (on Wooster) a while back, and I remember seeing them there, but it was quite some time ago. I definitely saw a lilac Trigger at the Calypso Outlet (on 405 Broome) in the back of the store on one of the shelves above the shoes, but it might have been sold by now. Should both of the places fail, the SoHo Bloomies should have it. My friend and I were oogling over the hazelnut bag last time there. In terms of weight, if I hold the Trigger in one hand and a Balenciaga Twiggy in the other, yes, the Trigger is a lot heavier. But I'm one of those people who carry a bunch of things and always uses shoulder bags, so I guess I just got use to the weight. Good luck finding your bag!
