Which band should I choose?

If you are looking to stack, I'd go with something very thin and delicate....how about something like this

it's Kate Beckinsale's set and I'm in love. I think pairing what you have with a unique band that is still slim would be great. Then you can still wear the bands with the e-ring, on their own together, or individually. But the others seem too bulky to stack, imo. But then again I'm all about the less is more and delicate look.

Your er is lovely and I think it stands better alone without a wedding band because of its shape. Have you considered adding two more rows of diamonds onto the er band to make it thicker? Or even upgrading the diamonds on the er band to the size of the halo diamonds? Just a thought.

Thank you for your feedback! I don't think I will make my erring band thicker as we just got it 2 years ago but I do agree a more delicate look may be better for my set.

Her set is very nice. However, I wanted another band that would be a bit wider but I may have to reconsider that. Thanks!

I see where you are coming from--it probably comes down to preference. I love the delicate look/bands. If it were between the two rings you originally posted I would without a doubt go with the second--it was beautiful.

Thank you and I really appreciate your input and will keep it in mind when DH and I go to try on rings this week. :flowers:

Thanks for explaining that to me. If I have the spacer between my ering and a shared prong setting, will that take away or minimize the damage? If it doesn't, then maybe it's best for me to consider a channel setting.

A spacer will help but it would have to be a wider spacer than you probably will want, and have to look more deliberate, like maybe a 2mm plain band vs a little 1mm thing that is more invisible. You need the space to really keep those diamonds from your basket. I don't think a 1mm is going to do enough of that, esp if either of the rings is loose on your finger.

UPDATE

DH and I went to look at all the bands yesterday. Everyone store we visited, the SA's said that my wedding set now is perfect and that I shouldn't purchase a band that will over shadow my ering. I had to agree and appreciated the honesty from them and for not trying to sell me something. However, to my surprise, I did like the bar set round and baguette band at HW. It was very delicate.

Well, DH caught me by surprise when he suggested me to buy another piece. It was a ring that he has always wanted to get me. He told me to buy something for my right hand and to leave my left hand alone. Therefore, I'm waiting for it to come in and I will do a proper reveal when I have it on my finger. I'm super excited!

Thank you so much everyone for the great advice! :hugs:
