i think i still prefer your matching micropave though :-)

Thanks again! I was just looking at that this morning after I saw ame's post. That one is beautiful as well. I guess I won't find anything that will match perfectly like the one I have now but I will definitely try it on when I'm in the store.

+1 I agree.

Thanks for your feedback!

You might have a hard time getting someone to make you a shared prong baguette band even, being that I cannot even find a blank casting of such a thing on any of the major casting houses.

I love the baguette eternity idea!!!! More presence but still visually connected to your EC.

Me too! I'm getting excited. :p

Thank you for sending me the links. :hugs: Those were very helpful. I've tried searching baguettes in a share prong setting too and did not come up with anything. I wonder if that can be done or maybe it doesn't look good ? :thinkin: It would be interesting to see one.

I don't even know that I've seen one out in the wild. Ive seen them bar set, but not shared prong. A lot of it probably has to do with the size of them and the amount of girdle exposure that would occur, and likely damage that would come from it.

Those are good points. I saw some emerald cuts that are shared prong set but vertically.

I also wonder if it will sit well with my ering since the shared prong setting seems to be taller. It might rub onto the ering basket. Will a spacer be good for that? I really appreciate your help!

Yes, regardless of what shape stone, you're going to need a spacer. The basket of your ring being that low and not having a flush fit situation definitely limits you with open style band (shared prong most specifically). Really though, even if you go bezel or channel you might want a spacer as a buffer bec that's still going to hit off the basket of your eng ring and both are going to see damage and wear ahead of schedule. I think as far as damage is concerned, shared prong will do the most damage to your ering. So that's something that if you get it, you'll want to wear that alone.

Thanks for explaining that to me. If I have the spacer between my ering and a shared prong setting, will that take away or minimize the damage? If it doesn't, then maybe it's best for me to consider a channel setting.

You have a lovely er. I think because of the way your er is made it would stand better alone without a Wedding band. Have you thought of maybe adding another row of diamonds (or two rows) to make the er band thicker?

Your er is lovely and I think it stands better alone without a wedding band because of its shape. Have you considered adding two more rows of diamonds onto the er band to make it thicker? Or even upgrading the diamonds on the er band to the size of the halo diamonds? Just a thought.
