Holy cow! Super dark saturated leather, sparkling shiny hardware. Don't think I've ever seen a FBF like this. I doubt they looked this new when they were new. Stunning!

I polished this little girls hardware, lickety split. It gave me false confidence.

Now you have us all busting out the Brasso and going to town. The process is a bit tedious, but the rewards are enormously satisfying seeing all the black gunk slough off to reveal little gems of shiny HW. Thank you for sharing, @Conni618!

But…but…but… please be sure to look closely at the condition of the studs before uncapping the brasso and grabbing a handful of Q-tips! Super important to check for un-marred finish on the studs before you start. Some of the studs on the older bags are scratched or worn through the finish In spots (Usually in the center). Rubbing brasso on a stud with this kind of damage can take more of the brass finish off, leaving silver showing.
Realy wish they were solid brass, but they are not!
