IMO, the Day is the most comfortable shoulder bag ever. If not too loaded, I can forget it’s on my shoulder. I too use MUs and/or coin purses in all my bags. Everything I need is grabable with one swipe. The original intent of the pouches was to be able to switch bags quickly without worry of leaving bits behind.

My husband thinks I’ve lost the plot, with the incoming avalanche of Balenciagas, after a dry spell of 8 years.
They are all Cities and Firsts, more the latter.
I will hunt for, and buy, ONE Day.

Same here. Given frequent bag changes, I carry all small, loose items in coin purses and makeups or place them in pockets. Meanwhile, I have to haul my laptop and e-ink tablet and occasional packed lunch or snacks. There’s nothing more accommodating to all those than the Day. And on trips, it also leaves room for a sweater or shawl. It’s perfection. And as Connie noted, it elongates the body like no other bag. It all depends on what you most need to carry on a daily basis.

I thought everyone carried multiple pouches, given how many bags we have.

I don't carry much but I don't mind how deep the Day is. I like using it when we travel because I can fit anything extra in there that I need - a sweater, a book, etc. The only thing that would make it better is if it had a back pocket like the club.

It doesn’t feel huge on. The Day molds to your body and is an easy carry.

I’m 5’2” and a solid beefy peasant 220 lbs.
Small bags look absolutely ridiculous on me, so I only own a few, but Days aren’t bulky unless they’re full, so they really don’t appear huge on anyone.
