All the Days showing up recently have convinced me to pull out my new-to-me Chocolate Day and give it a try. I'm still fussing with the charm, but using a reversible cloth Mandalorian keyring for now. Many thanks to @earswithfeet for pointing out this well-priced lovely with just the right amount of wear.

Very nice with the Mandalorian charm! What do you think of the size and shoulder carry?

@Redbirdhermes has completely embraced the charm culture.
Not sure what I'm doing, other than looking for something that I like and that looks good on the bag. Not too big or too small, not too bright or too dull, but just right. Something that reflects what I like but doesn't give away too much information. It is tricky, and I'm trying to take my time.

ETA- And, of course, if the charm was on a CeeJay City bag, they have all been perfect, and they stay.

After only two days of carrying the Day, the bag was beginning to annoy me with how difficult it was to find items in it. So, I laughed when I found @fayden 's comments last night confirming what a deep, dark hole of leather the Day was. When I emptied the bag out this morning, I discovered that I had already put four pens into it, having not been able to find the initial one. :oh:

Anyhow, today's outfit called for the Origan, so here it is. CeeJay's 2006 Origan City with a Juicy Couture strawberry added for a bit of contrast color. My Hermes scarf of the day is a Kyoto marble silk muffler.

I had 3 gorgeous Days at one point, but ended up selling them because of how frustrating it was for me to find anything LOL!

At the rate I was going on the Day, the bottom third was going to end up being unused junk, just like my bags in the past. I'm hoping to break my terrible habit of carrying around a lot of heavy trash by frequently changing out my Cities.

So funny how much our individual tastes differ, lol.
I LOVE the Day, even more than WE's. So worry-free and easy to use. The only handle/strap of any bag I ever had that doesn't slide off my shoulder.
Black hole? Yeah, but doesn't bother me one bit. I put my stuff in pouches to keep it from "getting lost" in the bag. And I would go nuts having pens just floating around and risking pen marks... :P

OMG, can't get over how well the marble silk muffler and the Origan goes together! LOVE IT. I know this is the Bal sub, but that marble silk is TDF and the strawberry charm is darling.

Thanks for the intel about the Day - I can strike it off my list for sure hahaha!

Same here. Given frequent bag changes, I carry all small, loose items in coin purses and makeups or place them in pockets. Meanwhile, I have to haul my laptop and e-ink tablet and occasional packed lunch or snacks. There’s nothing more accommodating to all those than the Day. And on trips, it also leaves room for a sweater or shawl. It’s perfection. And as Connie noted, it elongates the body like no other bag. It all depends on what you most need to carry on a daily basis.

IMO, the Day is the most comfortable shoulder bag ever. If not too loaded, I can forget it’s on my shoulder. I too use MUs and/or coin purses in all my bags. Everything I need is grabable with one swipe. The original intent of the pouches was to be able to switch bags quickly without worry of leaving bits behind.
