I carry LV and couldn't care less what people think. If they don't like that I carry them, that's their problem. I'm not going to not buy what I like just to make other people feel comfortable with their choices in handbags. Believe me, if some of these people could spend the money that these (LV, Bal, Coach, etc) cost, they would carry one in a New York minute!! As for them being seen a lot, or faked, what designer handbag isn't? I don't think anyone should let what other people think determine what you buy. If you really like a bag, buy and enjoy. We only go around once!

LV Speedy. I'm not a huge LV fan but I do like a few of the bags and that one I think is adorable but I do see a lot of it. I don't care anymore though, I want it and it's going to be my next purchase :heart:

I've been considering the neverfull for rainy days and to have a worries free bag, but really....it's everywhere!
Maybe I'll look for a Longchamp instead, as it's not that popular here.

Well, it's probably not quite the same but I've loved the LV Speedy 30 in Damier Ebene for a really long time but have still not purchased it - I'm not sure why really, part of it is the 'recognizable' factor, most of my bags are pretty under-the-radar. I also worry that the bag isn't really my style, it just suits other people...

I think I probably will get it this year though...

Lady Stardust, I'm with you...I will probably just get the Neverfull (and a Wapity, heh heh heh...I have been wanting one of thise forever) and say forget about everyone else!!!

You are absolutely right. As far as whether or not anyone else thinks it's a fake, I don't really care about that. I know it's authentic, and that's enough for me. :smile1:

lol! there are so many LVs as the "secret bag". for me, it's the LV Speedy 30. i don't know if i should get it only because there are so many fakes out there that i don't know if it would really be worth it minus me feeling proud on the inside. strangers won't know if it's real or not and could easily jump to conclusion that it's fake, especially cuz i'm a young asian (not trying to be stereotypical but let's be real here).

I can't bring myself to carry LV. Mostly because I find the print to be ostentatious and have seen so many people dressed head to toe in it that I overall find it to be tacky. If I had to think of one bag that I would get ONLY to be seen, what immediately comes to mind is LV. It's a bummer because I really like the bloomsbury PM, but I can't make myself buy it knowing I'll just feel like I'm putting on a show. If it came in smooth leather, I've had bought 4 by now. I just can't spend $1000 on something that showy.
