ah, I see.... that was another thing, I like sparkly stuff... so #1 didn't look that shiny. So I guess I like that finish.

My friends know I'm the one from the group that will go and pick out and blingy ring...that everyone else can't pull off... so it's just my style! (Mind you, we are all accountants, so we are more conservative than the average folk....)

I had a necklace exactly like Carrie's without knowing it. I bought it at Lord and Taylor in 2006 or 2007 and last year my SO broke it by accident. The beads were crystal rondelles on a sterling chain, I loved that thing and it matched everything.

By the way, from the picture that La Vangaurdia saved for us (thanks so much Van!), does it look like the middle bead is bigger, then the sizes of the sides gradually reduces? Wonder if I can get one of the etsy sellers to do a version like this, with 9 beads just like the one from the TV show. I know that swaravski beads come in 8mm, 6mm, and 5mm. What do you guys think?

Go get one made with 9 beads if you prefer it! I think it'll be a nice elegant and feminine piece that can go with everything. I also think that the diamonds in Carrie's necklace are graduating in size with the middle one being the biggest.

I would have also probably have 9 graduating crystals made, but it was an impulse buy as I waited long enough to finally own this style after obsessing about it for a few years lol!

I like #2 the most because of the style of the chain. It looked more feminine than the others.

I'm actually not sure if the Aurora Borealis effect is prominent or it might just be lighting. If you see the modelling pics, there's no such rainbow effect. I'm not a fan of the Aurora Borealis finish so I'm really hoping it's just how the beads reflect on certain lighting.

You don't really see the Aurora Borealis effect on the modelling pics. I think it's more prominent on the close up because of the lighting... I'm hoping they will just be shiney......
