Are you ladies imagining bags being dumped together like fruits in big baskets at Costco? Based on what I have seen at several Costco stores in my area, bags (one for each model) are stored inside big cases made of clear glass. To check out a bag, you would need to ask someone to unlock the case. To make a purchase, you write down the item number on a piece of paper and bring it to the cashier. After the item's paid for, you will pick it up at the pick-up center. Bags are pre-wrapped, they are not touched by everyone there!
Personally, I don't mind buying bags/wallets at Costco. I have ordered from the online store as well. Items are wrapped & packaged carefully, I couldn't be happier. Whenever a return's made to the store, S&H fees are refunded as well.
