Bonjour, it's possible to order from Darel Boutiques in France. You can ask for more information to Darelgirl who lives in Germany.
For my part, I live in the south of France. Recently, I ordered the Charlotte sac "chaines" (chain straps) from a Paris boutique because I could find it where I live. They said to me they often ship worldwide.

Just called Nada & Co. They have one Charlotte in black, $340. Note that I found two black ones at Bellissimo yesterday, @ $310.

Is there anyone on line who lives in Canada and would be willing to call Holt Renfrew? International calls are a bit of a pain for me. If so,
Ottawa # is 613-238-2200; Calgary is 403-269-7341. Looking for the Charlotte 24 in periwinkle. If not, i'll try to call tonight, and will let everyone know what I find.

I called both Holt Renfrew's. Ottawa told me they don't ship to the US. Calgary told me they would ship to the US and that they did have the periwinkle Charlotte but that they are sold out of it now...

Well, although not an exact answer I have found some phone numbes
for you, I have found the phone number and e-mail addess of the company that brings Gerard Darel to the US (Isabella). They should be able to tell you where you can buy the bag.

To Lisaanne and the others of you who posted, I have to say that I am continually astounded by your depth of knowledge and willingness to help. This forum is amazing!

I called Isabella, and spoke to a very nice woman who said that I am out of luck for blue Charlottes in the US for the moment. She said that the fall line is coming out in mid-July, and includes a blue Charlotte.

I will try to find out more in early July, and will let you all know if I meet with any success. If I find any earlier, I will of course let you all know, but it sounds as though the more unusual Charlottes are gone.

You're quite welcome. Truth be told I'm also on the hunt for another GD bag so I was also calling for selfish reasons. :cool: Bummer that the blue is nowhere to be found at the moment!

I'm headed to Europe later this summer and have already scoped out where they sell GD bags in Holland. :smile1:

Passerby, you have a great memory! I did not end up buying a shawl or evening bag because my son's fiance decided that my dress looked too much like hers! I didn't think they were remotely alike, but since we absolutely cannot have an unhappy bride, I returned my dress. I know have a copper-colored dress. I bought an ugly cheap gold purse, but may return it if I find something I like better.

Bloemetje, good luck with your GD search in Holland. I am sure you will find it!

For anyone else looking for a Charlotte, Danielle B in New York City has two: one light brown, one black. I think the brown must be a 36, because its price is $425. I didn't ask about the black. If anyone is interestd, the phone number is 212-772-8153.
