I have purchased from the boutique in LV also and a couple purchases online. Did you clarify with anyone from Cartier that you would still be eligible for no tax if you purchased from the website. I would think since Cartier is available to you in your home state you would still be responsible for the taxes.

Ya, the sale tax in WA is 8.5%-9.5%
But, no tax if purchasing from cartier e-boutique.

betterridge and london jewelers sell cartier. no tax if you don't live in those states.

I bought my items in Cartier boutique, there is a gorgeous one where I live, Europe, and it is a whole experience, I feel buying online takes away part of the "Cartier adventure"

I bought my Trintiy ring online, and I will never do that again. I was so SILLY to buy a ring online! And then when I had finally decided that I should exchange it for a smaller size (it fits, but it is a teeny bit too loose on my ring finger), it was too beat up (I had worn it a few times) to be exchanged. Dang.
