I really like this topic and enjoy reading all the replies! So fascinating! Starting this year, since I'm spending more on designer bags I'm in the phase of transitioning to more quality clothes than one-season-only type of cloth. I also tried to declutter as many new-ish cloth (but don't really wear) as possible to good wills. I do spent a lot on shoes besides bags/SLGs. I want to start building my designer RTW collection and hoping each time I wear them it would be a nice experience.

Other than that, I do most of the shopping in Nordstrom since I have the ND credit card and they carry most the brands I like.

I buy what I like from different brands and what suits my style.
But I have many pieces from H&M (Many pieces I have, I have for years and they are still great), Massimo Dutti and Zara.
Then I have many dresses from midrange and designer, e.g. Lena Hoschek (beautiful dresses), Zac Posen, a Oscar de la renta dress and some Tory burch dresses and caftans. I also love a few dresses I have from Realisation Par and Reformation and Clara Dorothea.
Then I invested in some cashmere pieces from several brands, which are great daily pieces.
Recently I got myself a Max Mara Teddy coat which I have been wearing daily and which really was a big investment piece, which I hope will last!
