i don't think you can just walk into a boutique and order a bag without a prior relationship. you have to be offered the opportunity to special order a bag. if your dream bag is a normal bag that is already made (not special ordered) you may be able to get it by just walking in but still that is quite unlikely.

I place my Order "Kelly 32 black TC" on 1st August 2012 and i don't have it.
Bevor the stop a 35 B gold need 7 month and a 32 K etoupe need 4 month....i wonder why they need sooo long now. Does the B and K goes to asia or what??? :cry:

I made an order for my B rouge casaque 35 also in August 1. My SA said it'll take up to 1.5 years.

But fortunately I bought exact this bag in Paris at the FSH already. So even if they call, I won't take my order and it will go to someone else :smile1:

I placed my order for.birkin with my sa with a deposit recently.. now I read that there is no need for deposit for an order.. I am puzzled.

Anyway, they can only plaved the order in june 2014 for me and I would have to wait for another 10 mths to get the bag

If I were to give her the choice color now n if new colors are released by 2014, can I change my order?

I am in a fix...

If I were to give basic colors like black, does it speed up my chance of getting a birkin compared to colors like rose tyrien?

I am from the United States, but travel internationally frequently and have visited many nice shopping areas around the world. I am coming closer to pulling the trigger on a Birkin, and was wondering if anyone has purchased theirs internationally, and what you did bringing it back home and going through customs. Did you bring the box or ditch it? Declare it? How much did you pay in taxes if you did? Is it worth it to try elsewhere or just try to get one in the states? Thank you!!

I was told in Luxembourg that from next year they will be producing more Birkins. In 2014 do you know if this is true. My husband was offered a kelly and never took it so annoyed. I am in London any tips on how to approach a sales assistant there
