When & what to spray on to spray on Vachetta?

Did you ever find the answer to this? I’m curious if the treated vachetta is less prone to water marks
From my understanding is yes, it’s still prone but not as much as the interested brand new vachetta.
Apple Guard (AG). I use Havre de
Luxe (HDL) as well, but I think AG works better on vachetta leather. Water literally beads up on the leather or roll offs. 🤯 I do still use HDL to protect and clean my canvas since AG can’t be applied on that.
It really is so personal. I’m a leave it alone kind of gal.
I used collonil leather gel on mines. Hasn’t darkened the colour or affected the texture. Only used a teeny tiny amount though. It’s peace of mind for me against stains or rain stain.
How much do you spray of the AG and how far away do you hold it? I have a speedy 20 so maybe I can first spray the piping on bottom of bag to test it gently.
I have always been a purist and never sprayed...but, my white MC All In BB's incredible beauty inspired me to purchase Apple Brand Garde and spray her!
I’m soooooo glad I Apple Guarded my Speedy, last night hubby and I went to a casino and the lady playing a machine next to me knocked her coffee all over me and Louie! I panicked and ran to the ladies room to wipe it off and fortunately there was no stain at all on it. I will always spray my untreated leather.

😱 omg! Yes I ended up spraying it a few days ago because I’ve been too paranoid to wear her out and enjoy her. I left her in a sunroom with shades down indirect light for 2 days rotating her around and now I feel better about taking her 😆
Me too. Whatever happens, happens. If I cannot stand it anymore, I get it replaced.
