I think you can take care of your bags, but there's no need to baby them. I'm not rich at all and only have a couple of designer bags… and I do look after them… but I still use them the way I should be. It's an object of utility, after all, and in a way, if they look well-worn, they've been loved!

Plus, who knows this bag is new? Maybe it's a vintage bag she got. Maybe it was given to her by her mom/aunt whoever. Celebs are only human, too!

Well, this forum is for expressing opinion - we can freely express our views and agree to disagree, that's all.
In my opinion, anyone, celebrity or not, should look dignified at any time, and this includes taking care of the appearance of oneself - which among many other things includes shoes, bags, etc, whether they cost 10$ or 10000$ it needs to look dignified, in my humble opinion.

her sunglasses look like chloe. and i think it is sort of disgusting how she takes care of her bags, but hey its her money she used to buy it so she has the right to do whatever she wants with it (even if it does look gross)

my goodness. it's her bag. she can treat it however she likes! the fact that her bag is worn and broken in does not mean she's ungrateful. all it means is that she uses it. often. and what is wrong with that? where are all these hyper judgmental and insulting comments coming from? jeez... i happen to like how her bag looks. it fits her to a t and perfectly complements her casual, tousled, vintage style.

agree! it's HER bag and she can treat it anyway she wants. if she's rich or poor it doesn't matter.

everyone needs to stop judging people, what about if the tables were turned.

i don't see how carrying a worn in bag makes one look less dignified - after all some of us pay to have our bags look distressed - but if that's what you believe...to each their own.

since when do we all have to look dignified?
smh....can't pull the thread

This bag is not simply worn in, it is what is called "ratty" looking - look at the corners especially. Kind of like wearing a tee shirt with a grease stain in the front, or socks with wholes KNWIM?;) I think this is what makes it undignified for me.

^^^ err NO huge differance between walking around on the street with grease stain or socks with holes than walking around with a hermes kelly that has been used many times because they truly love it. How you think it's 'ratty' looking is beyond me.

Everyone here is entitled to their own opinion about the bag. True yes, it is her bag and she can use it, abuse it, worship it, whatever. But the fact that you can tell by looking at the bag that it could have avoided that kind of abuse is what got me. I just don't see why you wouldn't want to take care of a bag to prolong it's lifespan. We do that for cars and our houses, IMO why should a purse be any different? And true, some of the bags out there are designed to look distressed, but an Hermes bag certainly is not designed to look distressed.

Again, this is my opinion. And that's not fair to say that because I or someone else who holds an opinion that differs from you is judgmental. I and others were just simply expressing our train of thought. There is no need to call out people.

She is definitely tough on her bags... She has a Balenciaga Pistachio City that is filthy and has huge ink stains on the bottom of the bag! I guess when you have that much money it just doesn't matter to some people!

I've seen photos of that bag and I'd be shocked if there wasn't something growing in there!

She can trash her bags all she wants, but that particular bag is truly disgusting!

I am surprised though that for someone who is SO into fashion that she doesn't take better care of her bags.

i said some comments were judgmental because they brought up her personal life to explain her bag's condition, which we're not discussing and is wholly unnecessary. no one was called out. at the same time, when you're expressing your opinion, don't be surprised when someone else expresses a differing view. just because you state your opinion does not mean anyone else can't react to it. this isn't about fair.

the traditional view of an hermes bag is classic, clean, refined. yes, i agree with you, but when anyone buys a bag, they make it their own. at least i hope so. bags don't come with directions. one can wear it any way they choose.
