I've been on a David Yurman kick the past couple of years, after being a Tiffany girl in my 20s and early 30s. I just love this stuff! Anybody else a fan? What are your favorite pieces? What's on your wish list?

Here are pics of my Yurman pieces...

Thanks! I love that blue topaz ring you are considering. It would really "glam up" any outfit with jeans.

I've been craving something with citrine, like maybe this ring below. And I would love this tassel necklace, because it would match the "quatrefoil" earrings that I have, but it's pretty steep--$2,450!

Cosmo, you have an impressive DY collection! I never really liked DY until recently. Here are the few pieces I have.

I also have this chain in the medium bracelet.

^^^Hey Kat, we've got the same amethyst ring and 18k/sterling bracelet. Go figure... I've thought about getting that same necklace to match the bracelet, too. I'm telling you, once you buy a couple of Yurman pieces, it's addictive!

Cosmo, you're right - they are addictive. I love DY jewelry!

I have two of the cable bracelets, one with pearl tips and the other with the gold piece in the middle (sorry, I don't know the true name).

I had the lemon ice ring and the necklace to match but I sold them to buy a plasma. Let's just say I really miss them. Never part with your DY pieces!

Cosmo- your collection is so beautiful, thanks for sharing. I love your pearl drop earrings and every single one of your bacelets!

Like Kat, I was not a DY fan until recently either. I would love to start with one of his rings- like a topaz, or your ring on the bottom left of your pic (Is that a garnet with diamonds?) Really, really pretty.

I just bought my first piece of David Yurman yesterday. I bought the 7mm Thoroughbred bracelet. I thought it was a good basic piece to start with. I am just in love with it. But the icing on the cake was that I got to meet David Yurman himself. The King of Prussia store just opened this month and he was there inspecting the store with the CEO of the company. It was so cool. I took it as a sign that I need to start collecting more of his pieces. Any suggestions as to what my next piece should be? TIA

Wow, that's so cool that you met David Yurman in the flesh! Was he wearing lots of jewelry? Was he handing out freebies?

Congrats on your bracelet! Post a pic if you can.

For your next purchase, another 7mm bracelet would be fun. I think the Yurman bracelets look best when you wear multiples together at one time. Or of course, you could go for a pair of earrings... The great thing about this line is that most of it mixes and matches with everything else, so there are lots of options! (Plenty of pics to browse at neimanmarcus.com or davidyurman.com...)

Thanks Marly! Yes, that ring is a garnet with diamonds. It's called the "petite albion ring." It would be a good starter piece, because it's relatively affordable, around $600, although I should caution that it is a smaller ring, as opposed to one of those bigger cocktail rings that Yurman usually does.

The Citrine Ring you have your eye on is TDF, I think Citrine is such a beautiful stone, and it definitly goes with anything and everything!
The colour of the stone in this pic is so intense! LOVES IT!

My favorite pieces are the diamond cookie necklace and the bracelets. I have several pieces of his jewelry and have been collecting for 10 years. I love how the silver always looks so new and polished. I will have to take a pic when I get home of all my items. I just got the double heart pendant and the amethyst bracelet for Xmas!
