I have thought about this since the thread started. Now that I am just about done with my collection, I don't really have a dream bag or a holy grail any more. The few bags I felt were "must haves/forever bags" for my collection, I've bought.

And the bags still on my shopping list are more color / need combo - for example I want a small black crossbody and a bordeux satchel / shoulder bag. I haven't id'd the perfect ones but will buy when I do - no rush.

I think I'd have to say my dream bag is a "wow" bag. I want something that is a jaw dropping, show stopper. Something very interesting to wear with amazing materials. I have seen bags that were close to this but nothing that made me pass out, wake back up and crawl to the cash register desperately waving my wallet at the sales staff. LOL!!

So, I can't give any specifications - I just know I'll know it when I see it!!!

I've probably changed my dream bag to end all bags for me many times over the years, but right now my dream bag is an H HAC 45 in Etoupe with GHW. That bag does something to me, and I just can't get over it.

I'd say it's the black caviar boy that I just bought. I'm feeling very bag content right now and for the first time in awhile I'm not adding to my purse fund. The only thing that might temp me coming up is that cute little patches lines LV has coming out.

Narrowing it down to one is hard but for sentimental reasons I would have to say my gran's H Bleu Marine, Box Sac Mallette - goodness knows how much something like that would cost nowadays (if H would make it). It's home is on my piano. I hardly remember my grandmother but I'm told when I smile I look just like her :smile:. By all accounts she was the loveliest and kindest of women (even by my other gran who certainly was not LOL). I have her off-white H clutch I wore to my graduation (H crafts-person worked on it to clean it up) and a 1961 silk-satin dress she had made and that's it.

Im interested to know what everyone's dream bag is? I've got a few that I want but can't decide!!!! E.g.; Loewe Puzzle, Channel Classic Flap....

However, my dream bag at the moment (today) is the: Louis Vuitton Montaigne BB/MM in monogram.
