What's your approach to color in your handbag collection?

I stick with mainly neutrals for my bags (ie, black and brown), but when it came to the Longchamp Le Pliage bags I wanted to get creative with bright colors.

Soon to add a green custom order Le Pliage as a b-day present from my bf .

My only other colored bag is my Faure Le Page (pictured here as well), but I think that the color on this bag is muted enough to be considered "neutral".

Hi everyone! I am currently debating on purchasing either the medium Givenchy Nightingale or the Saint Laurent Duffle 12. I don't know if I should do a neutral color or something vibrant. What are your thoughts??

I only believe in having one bag in each color because spending money on another bag that accomplishes the same (outfit) color palette as one I already own isn't a good decision for me.

Ooh, fun topic.
My wardrobe itself is fairly neutral, but I love to add bright colors via bags and shoes. Most of my bags are in bright colors. I am starting to add bright shoe colors as well. However, I also like to have a black bag and white bag for more formal functions. So I own 1 white Coach leather hobo and 1 black cross body that is unbranded. When I buy luxury brands I tend to buy the more colorful bags.

I'm in love with neutral earth tones because the quality of the leather takes center stage rather than the dye. And I love nice leather. I also cannot wear those colors (bold cool jewel tones look best on me, I look sick in beige or tan or brown) so I get my fix with leather goods.
