As my luck usually goes, I lost the auction.
Gosh you're super LUCKY to lose the auction!
Thanks for bringing this up so other PF members are aware cos I don't think this seller is legit.

the seller had 3 auctions ending that day and they were all private auctions. perhaps if you want to be sureif it was a non paying bidder or not ..
just conatct the buyer who left the feedback and ask her what item she purchased? it could be she was the winner of any of the other 2 items?

it really could be that it was a relist due to a nonpaying bidder as such things do happen.

here is the next reply back

That's the item I sold 2 weeks ago:
Authentic Louis Vuitton Popincourt (6885678119)

Personally, I would bid. Non-paying bidders happen all the time and that is why he said he's relisting it. I understand why sellers make the buyer private, but when looking back over feedbacks it does get kinda confusing. 3868amy seems like a real buyer (and not a friend) -- she has sold a couple of Kate Spade bags in the past but also accepted a return on a Cole Haan wallet in February...

The bags he sold are authentic.

That said, I'd bid keeping in mind that he has VERY low feedback and the ol' "bait and switch" could possibly take place. He's not an established seller, IMO. But often times authentic items can be picked up at a good price because of that.

You pay your money and take your chances! The possibility of getting cheated is always there... Pay with a CC through paypal if you win.

oh, i'm not bidding! i already have a Damier Papillon 30 on its way to me from eluxury  i just posted this because i'd never come across this before and i found it a bit odd.

you're welcome :flowers:

Simple - the seller was shill bidding to raise the price. He won his own auction being greedy, and was forced to relist it. After all what is he going to do? Pay himself for the bag?
