Whats wrong with Chanel Perforated collection?

I like the perforated bags but would never choose to buy one.

ITA ^^ it's just personal preference; but more importantly, i think the perforated collection is a little too trendy for me; at that price, i want something that will stay in style for ages! (Btw, your red classic flap is TDF! )

IMO the perforated line doesn't photograph well. I've never seen a single item online that I liked. Then I saw it IRL and thought it was beautiful. I think it was the black classic flap...

I think most Chanel people are just more into "the classics". But I actually like the perfo line. Especially the funky colors! If I had the $$$ I would get one!

I like the perforated line, especially the black and white. Just like another boardie said, if I had oodles of money I would buy one. But since my funds are limited, I plan to stick to the classic caviar or lambskin. For 2K, I want a bag that's going to be timeless.

I just really hate the holes! In my opinion, they detract from the bags. It's too bad, because the shade of green in the perfo line is stunning.

I love the line! I think it's a fun twist to the older/mature looking classic flaps. I'd get it if it were cheaper than the caviar....I can justify spending so much on a very seasonal bag.

I'm still recovering from my Louis Vuitton green perforated Speedy....everyone thinks it's a dog carrier! Something about holes all over just doesn't seem to agree with a lot of people.

I like perforated bags in general - many years back Prada did some amazing ones, and BV a few seasons ago did some amazing ones. What I don't like about Chanel's perforated is that the leather looks cheap . . . those other bags the perforated looked good because of the really fine excellent quality leather . . .

I think I fell head over feet for this line when I saw the green small perforated E/W flap in the store.

I can't get one, though. I only have money set aside for one flap bag, so I have to make it last. I think I'm going to go for the classic flap, hopefully they will make it in a pretty bright or jewel color this F/W. A Chanel rep told me that this season should have very good colors for the flaps, as the company is doing a "tribute to couture" theme for the bags.

i love the royal blue perforated jumbo classic flap, but would worry about one of the holes tearing..............

I have the white jumbo perforated and absolutely love it!
It's so pretty and really just a variation on the beautiful classic flap...more modern, which is fun.....so, I don't think there's anything wrong with the Chanel perforated collection!
