No matter what the bag is. All my bags are stuffed with a pillow (maybe two depending on the bag) with the straps removed (if they remove) wrapped and kept in a small belt dust bag inside the bag sitting upright side by side not on top of one another. This way they hold their shape with no creases or odd shaping.

I use the IKEA pillows also! I bought a ton of them when they were on clearance and use them for all my bags. I also use air pillows and bubble wrap to fill in loose spaces wherever I need to.
SIA if this is a silly question! I just purchased a monogram Speedy B 30. I love having the cross body option but don't always use the strap. Sometimes I don't want the vachetta to get dirty, so I stick the strap inside the bag. I am worried about it getting ruined this way. Do any of you keep the strap in a dust bag inside your speedy? If so, what kind/size dust bag do you use? If you use another solution I'd love to hear about it!
I leave my straps inside the bag in (new) shoe dustbags. They are the perfect size and have drawstring closures.
Same as the others, I use an LV drawstring dust-bag (the ones belts come in) to store my strap when not in use.
I think the op means where to store the strap while carrying the bag, if she doesn't want to use the strap at the time. I think your posts refers to storing the whole bag and strap when neither is in use.
I'm not sure though, I could be wrong. I was just thinking if nothing's inside why would it get dirty?
I have a bag shaper for my Speedy 25 emp. I coil the strap, put in a dustbag and keep in one of the bag shaper pockets. Works really well when out and about as I don't always have the strap on.
