What’s on your for-sure, longterm jewelry wishlist?

My wants are always changing.
But now I’ve learnt to look at jewelry that gives longevity in terms of holding its style say in the next 20yrs. I’m not young, I hope I live a good ripe age where I still wanna wear jewelry. If not, the pieces I would want to pass down to my daughter (she is still small… I was very late in popping her). If not, at least I can sell them off when I don’t fit them anymore!

Look what I got today. The pink sapphire diva’s dream pendant! It’s so pretty. And much better in-person than in photos. Going to cross the diva’s dream pendant off my list. Originally, I was thinking diamond pave. I totally forgot about the pink sapphire version. But the pink is just so sparkly and fun, and it still fits my requirement of being easy to take care of, so I bit the bullet.

Also, the pink sapphire version seems to be discontinued? I don’t know for sure, but apparently there’s only like 2 in the US now, and stores haven’t received a new shipment in a while. Anyways, I love it. Here’s a comparison with the VCA rhodonite holiday pendant for people who are curious about the size.

I think I still need a rose gold pendant with just diamonds, but this is what spoke to me in the meantime.

Congratulations! It is such a pretty pendant. Pink sapphires seem so fresh yet elegant.

Chaumet, Buccellati and Boucheron are all jewelry houses that I’ve been interested in but haven’t seriously put on the wishlist due to stores not being near me.

However, a Buccellati opened up about a year ago (how I missed it, I do not know lol)

And I got my first piece!

It is very different than my current collection.
I’m usually not a silver person but I loved how different it was.
It’s been a bit since I’ve bought from a jewelry house, and I feel like I’m getting into the shopping mode again.

I’m now eyeing the Opera collection haha.

Wow, so pretty. I also like buccelatti pieces, at least from what I’ve seen. I really wanted the opera pink opal bracelet. But after the company got bought by Richemont, I think they stopped making it. Maybe because it’s a bit similar to VCA? But the metal work is always so intricate looking, and it’s got that vintage flair.

Never seen Buccellati in real life though, or knew anyone who had bought anything from the company.

That’s one gorgeous ring! I have become quite interested in this brand because of the details and craftsmanship that goes into each of their pieces. Thanks for sharing (maybe a hand shot?)

My list is replacing my stolen items that haven't yet been replaced, I still have diamond studs and a tennis bracelet left on my "needs" list.
I would like to add a solitaire necklace and a tennis necklace that's small enough to wear versatilely and a 36mm gold Rolex Presidential watch.

Marking studs off my list, got an early Vday gift. I SOOOO missed having studs to wear everyday!

Congratulations on your new earrings! Studs are just perfect and when I wear mine I can go on for weeks and weeks.
I’m so sorry your jewelry was stolen. It happened to me as well in NYC. It felt so intrusive and scary, I am still upset about it. But as we say thank you God for taking only gold and saving my life.
