You are not alone for the small cuir. Despite liking the cuir leather so much, I've rehomed all my small, medium cuirs+neos. Even on my frame, I was also asked whether I'm heading to the gym or travelling.
Whew, glad to hear that I'm not the only one. It's odd, because there are so many ladies (and men) that manage to pull off the Neo/Cuir style so well without looking like they're headed straight for the airport or yoga class, as seen in the many photos here on this forum. It must be something about the way that we both dress :P

IMO, despite its size, the Cuir backpack doesn't look like a school backpack even on taller people because it's designed to be worn low and has a bucket bag shape, but your husband is entitled to his opinion ;) And I suppose I'll have to post a mod shot with the backpack one day in the 'What Longchamp are you carrying today' thread.

Perhaps. My lifestyle is very casual and I'm often in athleisure attire and in sneakers. Probably that's why the small cuir looks like a gym bag on me. The best look imho is held in the hand or on the crook of the arm. My country is small and I love seeing it on others frequently. I've seen both genders wearing the small and clearly commuting to work. They look totally at ease with it.

For a very short run, this cuir backpack also came in a larger size. My SA felt that the larger size was a better proportion for me and I agree. Who knows, maybe I'll score one from the outlets in future. I wonder if I will be fishing for things in the larger size as it is relatively taller but oh that scrumptious cuir leather! I recall trying on the Sienna when it was still available at the boutique. It very quickly sold out though. Will love to see your mod shot some day. It will bring back fond memories of my emerald cuir.

And inside of my SSHLP:
Longchamp Card holder in Pink
LC Coin purse in pink which holds my cash
LC Cuir (Lagoon color?) holding miscellaneous items
Green All Saints leather WOC which holds cards and my car keys.
Disney Flowers (Bambi’s friend) credit card holder (holds cards like Starbucks and gift cards)
Portland Leather Co. (yellow) that holds my big store credit cards

Nice! I really do like some of the men’s collection. I have a men’s (large for me) backpack in Foulonne. Everything looks good here and I especially love that Fuchsia coin purse!
Thank you… I’ve used (and abused) this one and it still looks as beautiful as the day I got it. The men’s collection have some really great pieces. Good to know about their backpacks, you got me searching

Torn between the sizes too.
I used to have the small, in caramel. It is gorgeous. There is just one con to it, the way the strap hooks onto the lower ring (if you use that ring) makes the bucket bag lopsided when you wear it sometimes. The bigger size is quite large and I imagine it might not be as comfortable if you were to load it up full. This is because the strap is thick in depth but not in width so on the small, it works but I'm unsure if you are thinking of the bigger version. I've seen it appear on Brand Alley UK but I've received clearly used bags from them so unless you are able to return easily, I do not recommend this site. The same goes for Jomashop US. I've also received used bags from them too but I had seen Foulonne bucket bags listed randomly. Best option will be outlets whereby authenticity and condition is more assuring.

Thanks for your thorough review @frenziedhandbag. That’s a good point about it being lopsided… also good to have feedback about suppliers. I know one outlet has it, but in black. I was contemplating on the larger one as it could fit an ipad but probably this one should be tested in person. Really appreciate your help on this. Thank you so much!
