Thank you so very much. I focus more on Shorts and Reels etc. as my views dropped drastically during my PCS move to TX. That hurt because it takes a lot of effort to film, and to be taken seriously in the creator space especially for a woman of color. I am just getting back into the swing of posting full length videos at least once a week.

Yves Saint Laurent Opium
Chanel No. 5
Dior Hypnotic Poison
Elizabeth Taylor White Diamonds

Opium has been my signature scent since the 80s. I would sometimes have a few other fragrances I wore on occasion, but Opium was my favorite. Diane Von Furstenberg Tatiana was my second favorite, but I haven't purchased that in years. There were about 15 years where I had to stop wearing perfumes, because I was having problems with asthmatic reactions to any scents. That has passed and now I am again wearing Opium and have purchased a few other fragrances to wear occasionally.

I am not sure I am going to keep the White Diamonds. It is very, very strong, even if I spray sparingly.

I am going to pick up some Clinique Happy later this week.

I wear perfume every day. It makes me happy. <3

I've cut down my fragrance collection once again and only have:

- Hermes Un Jardin sur la Lagune (100mL)
- Le Labo AnOther 13 (100mL)
- Le Labo Santal 33 (100mL)

At my SO's place, I have a 30mL (travel) and 100mL EDP of Calvin Klein Eternity, as I prefer using a cheapie considering the casual lifestyle we have. I have also decanted both Le Labo fragrances into these Amazon atomisers and use them for days I go into the office and/or visit clients, which can be 2-3 days per week.

I think from memory I have:-

Most prized - unopened 1930s bottle of Caron nuit de Noel in casing and baccarat bottle.

I read Luca Turin and Tania Sanchez’ book on perfumes and it was a big influence in building my collection and falling in love with Guerlain especially but I definitely don’t agree with all their rankings,

Caron - nuit de Noel
CDG Avignon (amazing)
Chanel- coco, 19, I had allure sensuelle and 5 but I have no urge to replace them now they are used up.
Clinique-aromatics elixir, elixir in white
Dior - miss Dior original, dune ( I don’t like any of their others at all I don’t think)
Elizabeth Arden -green tea, GT cassis and sunflowers (totally disagree with LT here I think Green tea is great.)
Etro - Paisley, Messe d’minuit (amazing)
Frederic Malle - portrait of a lady, musc ravaguer
Guerlain - l’huere bleu, habit rouge, shalimar,
mitsouko (all show stoppers)
Hermes - eau d orange verte
Issey miyake edt
Marc Jacobs- dot
MFK
Molinard - habinata (amazing)
Moschino- toy boy, cheap and chic
Patou - 1000 joy sublime
Yardley - rose, honeysuckle, bergamot (sometimes you just want simple)
YSL - rive gauche
Zoologist civet
I have used up a few of these now- rive gauche, cheap and chic and both cliniques and Dune (sob- it doesn’t smell right anymore.)

I got 2 Bronnley cheapies- rose and raspberry and English fern and they are lovely. Fern lasts amazingly too.

I also got Tom Ford Black Orchid and Chanel chance for Christmas. I loved chance but it doesn’t last on my skin at all. Black orchid is an old faithful for me and is mr bagatha’s favourite but I do think these department store scent prices are getting crazy!

Received two additions to my collection over the holidays -- a giftset of Houbigant Apercu and a travel/purse spray of Tom Ford Noir de Noir. Apercu was a surprise to me -- a vintage inspired scent which contains oakmoss, and smells quite lovely. Discontinued, but available for very reasonable prices online. Also available in extrait.

That’s such a gorgeous box and bottle. Love the vibe. I will track down houbigant on of these days it’s so pretty.

Yes, I was first attracted to the pretty bottle and packaging, but the fragrance is very good as well. Despite the pictured basket of flowers which might lead one to expect a springtime bouquet, this perfume is actually not floral, but more of a warm, earthy woodsy sort of scent with cinnamon and oakmossy goodness. I actually bought both the extrait and a shower gel after trying this set (the pictured set includes EDT and body lotion) and am currently using the shower gel and the lotion. You don't even need the perfume -- these body products are amazing on their own and wear lighter than the perfume, but are very long-lasting. I believe Apercu was formulated just a little while before the oakmoss regulations were introduced, so it does contain real oakmoss. It's discontinued but the bottles themselves are not deep deep vintage, so it's a good pick for those who love these kinds of fragrances.

As for Dune, I agree with you. It doesn't smell the same anymore. There's just a little something that's different, but it makes all the difference if one is accustomed to the original version. I loved Dune and went through three bottles back in the day when I had a smaller collection!
