Chanel Allure - First perfume I bought myself. Was on the airplane coming back from a school trip to France when I caught a whiff of the most amazing scent ever. I turned around to a lovely French woman spritzing her wrists with this. She saw me looking and gave me a wink. "'eez Chanel Allure." She said. Sold.
Burberry Brit - amber and pear.
Lolita Lempicka - Fun, going out scent.
L'Occitane Ambre (SUCH memories... I had a moment with a boy while I was wearing this perfume... "I feel like I smell like cigars." I said, catching a whiff of the middle notes. "Is there a good reason for that?" He asked. "I like cigars." I said.) I also feel like L'Occitane perfumes tend to have a such melancholy note about them. They're beautiful, but sad.
Chanel Coco Mademoiselle - Looking for a sophisticated day-wear office friendly scent. I like this one, but it can be a bit grating in close contact. Very cool and chic, though. I bought the lotion in a discount store, so I don't feel too cheated.
Gap Dream - Throwback to 1996. Innocence, love, and white flowers... yeah, yeah, yeah.
L'Occitane Eau de Vanilliers - Love this one, too. Still melancholy, but with a hint of fizzy creme soda about it.
Most recently, have been auditioning Ebba's Miss Marisa (Thank you, Taylor Jacobsen from seasons 1&2 or RZP-- It's a wearable minty fresh pick-me-up) and Diptyque's Philosykos (Thought it was too woody at first, but it seems like it's morphing to my body chemistry the more I wear it... becomes creamier and smoother the more I put it on) and L'Eau (I smell like a giant pomander spice ball... wowza!)
