It's been so rainy here for the past few weeks that I didn't really even think about any other option.

Carried a very special one for me today. It's by the Spanish brand Bimba & Lola, about nine or ten years old. This was my very first actual nice looking bag made of leather that got me to appreciate high-quality bags and accessories. Basically, this is where my whole designer bags love originated from. I still carry it sometimes - it has a nice pocket in the front and a very spacious one in the back, and the open interior pocket fits my huge phone perfectly.

Carried a very special one for me today. It's by the Spanish brand Bimba & Lola, about nine or ten years old. This was my very first actual nice looking bag made of leather that got me to appreciate high-quality bags and accessories. Basically, this is where my whole designer bags love originated from. I still carry it sometimes - it has a nice pocket in the front and a very spacious one in the back, and the open interior pocket fits my huge phone perfectly.

I think we all have _that_ bag , the OG that started all. Many still have theirs hiding somewhere in their bag closet. Mine is my beloved Mustard Mulberry Antony. Carried him on Saturday and it was pure love once again.

Yep, I don't think I'll ever be able to sell it or give it away, regardless of how often I reach for it. I'm not that familiar with Mulberry yet, but I looked up the Antony bag and it's so simple and lovely. Can't imagine it ever getting old

I try & I’m getting better at it. Lately, I pretty much just carry that little LV pouch with “stuff” in it & my wallet & phone, even in a bigger bag.

Sometimes it's just a good feeling to know you have the bag in your closet. Just in case.
I love old Mulberry. The Antony is so lovely, mine is in polished goatskin so it's really lightweight and it can carry a whole heap of stuff. It's my adventure bag which I've carried in the forest, urban jungle, longer travels and short cruises. Works for everything!

The only thing not shown is my phone and keys. I have an Ipsy make-up bag that holds odds and ends, a small stun gun because I work in a shady neighborhood, C Wonder cardholder, sunglasses, mints from House of Pies, and a Garance Dore card. I wrote all of my sizes (US, European, Italian, and sister bra sizes) in the card. I got tired of looking it up on my phone.

I think I have this same strap!

Yesterday's agenda was a 10 hr archipelago cruise with work mates. Took my XLLH LC LP and Coach Classic Penny along for the ride. The LP stayed in the cabin and was responsible for lugging my shopping and bigger essentials while Penny followed me everywhere.
Penny contained my passport inside a LC passport cover, LV 6 ring key holder, Ted Baker card holder, iPhone 6S, xylitol sweets and an Essence lip gloss.

I had to have my passport with me because it's the only official ID I have.
The TB card holder I bought from the fashion store onboard, I left home with just a basic black RFID protected card holder I borrowed from SO for the trip.

It's funny, I was recently looking at the Gucci Marmont Super Mini and thinking I want something just like that - I was asking around for options other than Gucci but found something very similar in my own closet!
I keep forgetting about Penny because I deemed it too small at one point and in the short time I've owned her I used it once, maybe twice. Penny is a tad larger than the Super Mini but it's just the right size for me. Also I never liked using a full flap bag and despite forgetting to close the flap a few times yesterday (which resulted in things falling out of the bag), I think a full flap on a small bag made of soft leather is pretty much okay.

Another ridiculous WIMB with the Cherry LC LPC Mini.
Now I "only" had a TB card case, candy box, umbrella, LV 6 ring key holder, tissue, a couple of papers, earphones and iPhone 6S in the bag...I could have easily fit in a couple of other small items like a lip product, a scrunchie and a nail file in its case. Also the small pocket in the front was empty.

If there was nothing else to be said about this bag, you sure do get a lot of bag for little money!

I, too, love these threads (and blog posts and YT videos)! They really have helped me out alot as well, saved me from making some expensive mistakes and also guided me towards bags that can carry my stuff. Sharing is caring!
