when i bought my YG dbty, the SA told me they have many different sizes then on the website. everything from 0.05 and up. maybe they put some of these sizes up on the website for a limited time? I know when I was upsessed with the garden collection I would go on the webpage to look at them and the products were constantly being moved around and reloaded.

So pretty! This is the perfect everyday piece! My DH got me the Victoria pendant that also has a suspended round brilliant solitaire underneath for Christmas a few years ago. I had no idea about the diamond specs either until I took it into Tiffany and had them look up the order. Turned out to be a 1/2 carat D Vs1! Anyway, go into the store and they'll tell you! Enjoy your lovely gift!!

That necklace is TDF!! I was looking at the necklace the other day and tried on a .31. It looks like a .27 to me (but then again I'm not an expert, sorry!) I also think that your DH should call Tiffany and talk to his SA about the specs for the necklace. It's usually written on the price tag but the SAs obviously take it off after purchase and before packing it up. Hopefully the info is still in THEIR system since it's not on your receipt.

Oops, I guess I didn't read the post carefully enough. Since your DH got it off Tiffany.com, maybe you can call customer service and ask for the info that way? They should easily trace the amount you paid to the corresponding carat weight that was sold off the site! Anyway, it's gorgeous. I can tell it has a lot of fire and sparkle. I hope you keep it, I bet it looks lovely on you!

Can't help with the specs, but the necklace is beautiful! The color and clarity both look great in the pic, but I can totally understand you wanting to know more specific specs on it.

Congrats!

When T&CO sells a round brilliant diamond .19 and larger it is customary to provide a diamond certificate, as smaller stones are considered melee and not cut to the exact precisions of the "round brilliant" cut. If they don't mail the certificate soon you need to call customer service. Not having that paper affects the value. Unless you don't mind not having the certificate - but still. If you ever have the necklace insured/repaired you should have the specs of the original stone.

Hubby's SUCH A DORK. Haha.

Got the stats. G color VVS1 .19ct. Hahahah all this time he thought he purchased .20 something.

Anyways, we received info that Elsa Peretti DBTY stuff doesn't come with certificates? Either that or it's .19 and no certificate!

Love it regardless!

Gorgeous DBTY, it looks lovely on you, wear it in good health & my DH is the same he got my Valentines day present a couple of weeks ago & like yours he couldn't wait to give it to me lol
