Chanel inimitable is by far the best I've tried. No clumps, contact safe, and dont make my lashes brittle and stiff. one thing I love about chanels, it's more of a natural look. I'm loving the LE jade green color they have out in the summer collection.
I didn't care for Diorshow, or the unlimited but, I did like the black out, espically for my nights outs. Blackout is my second fav. MAC Zoom is also working well with me, which is very suprising. so, who knows that may be my third fav.

i have to agree with lanier the faux cils is amazing! it gives you the fake lash effect without the hassle also the diorshow unlimited is by far better than the other diorshow mascaras it gives lengths w.o clump.

I was so disappointed with DiorShow! Far from anything spectacular and even a bit clumpy I find! Used it only twice then I went back to my regular Clinique's double lash mascara (+ Clinique's Primer) which have been overall great for my short stubby lashes. I might try Chanel's Inimitable next since it seems to be another rave from everyone here... but if Chanel doesn't work for me, I'm sticking with Clinique!

I've tried lots of different expensive mascaras, as I too have skimpy pathetic lashes. I like DiorShow Blackout the best for volume and lengthening in one. Have you tried that formulation? Chanel Inimitable is less likely to smudge but I found it didn't really volumize, just lengthened a bit. The fibrous mascaras work ok but they give me eye infections so I can't use them.

nothing is better than diorshow!! i tried unlimited but that stuff is like boot polish!! it takes forever to get off your lashes..... (and it is 30% 'blacker' than diorshow - so i guess it depends on what you like)

i abandonded diorshow for a couple of months but bought a new one on saturday - i forgot how good it was...

ive tried diorshow (yuk), and chanel inimitable (it was good, but still didnt do that well wen i had put liquid eyeliner on), but the other day i brought mac's plush lash - WOW i love it - crazy crazy length of eyelashes and volume - and its half the price of chanel (at least in NZ)
