we're planning to go check out the rings this sat! will definitely post pics if i come home with something. went to cartier a few days ago and the bangle i want (rose gold with 4 diamonds) is not available, so if we decide on that i'll have to wait.

here's clanalois' aqua legacy which she posted on another thread, hope she doesn't mind me reposting. the centre stone is around 1.8 which is the size i'm looking for.

I prefer the aquamarine to the diamond band. but if you're concerned about the markup, then go for the cartier bracelet. can you order the bracelet online?

I second the question...what did you think when you tried them on?

the aqua was not available when we went to the store over the weekend but managed to try on another stone (i think it was tanzanite) in the size i want. price is still the same as when i checked previously, around 13k for a 1.7/1.8 aqua.

dbf will be going to canada next week to visit his parents for the holidays so he's going to try the store there!

I like the first ring...it's a good ring for everyday wear..... the second one is nice too, but I would only wear it when dressed appropriately.... ie, dressed up.... both are beautiful though! Good luck with your decision!
