I think a black city B-bag would be perfect. It's trendy and classy. It's roomie enough to fit most of your essentials but doesn't appear too large. It has great quality (nice leather). The price is not too high like Birkin.

This tote is my perfect summer bag for the pool and park with my kids. It's got an insulated pocket inside so I can keep drinks and snacks cool (I used to have to bring a lunch cooler) and an outside pocket for my keys and cell phone. Plus, plenty of room for toys and towels. And pretty darn sassy too

OMG, my perfect bag would still have to be Manhattan, I love the way it looks and its just such a timeless piece, I love the fact that its got those little compartments and buckles, its the perfect bag! BUT, its more like something I would take to work. BUT, I luv my Balenciaga, its perfect because its so easy throw your stuff into and it just seems to fall into perfect shape (if that makes any sense).
I luv bags with lots of pockets on the inside, and especially need one thats just the right size for my lipgloss, powder, eyeliner, a little travel size perfume and moisturiser as I cant really be bothered with taking a little cosmetic bag with me.

speedy has turned out to be pretty much the perfect bag for me. zippered, hand held, fits everything i need (book, waterbottle, makeup bag...those are the biggies) the only thing is she's a little too big for going out at night. but really speedy and an evening clutch would probably do me for the rest of my life.
Ok, I am new and have been quite chatty about Jennifer Marvin bags. I am about to get my perfect one...I ordered the "Mia" bag all in one color, tabac (tobacco). The color is neutral but rich and goes as well with my blacks as it does with my light colors. I travel so much, I need to have a good bag that goes with everything. This one fits that bill! It has the outside pocket (with a magnetic snap closure) the top zip is long enough for me to easily get inside, but secure enough for travel. There is a flat pocket, a zip pocket, and a cell pocket (bien sur)...oh, and I love the key fob, so I don't lose my keys in the bottom of the bag. It is roomy enough to hold everything, without appearing huge ...it is very supple but it stands up when you put it down. (I like that) and it is lined in beautiful softly iridescent silk, which makes me feel pampered=) And, I know I will be able to pass it on to future generations because of it's incredible quality. Also, there are no tell-tale advertising marks...just the signature hand worked leather rose and twisted handles. I can’t wait to have it in my hands. It is custom ordered, so I have to wait about six more weeks. I will post it when it arrives if you want=)
