Hello, everyone. Pleased to meet you! I'm new here and relatively new to collecting handbags.

This is my most recent Dior purchase. I ordered the Lady Dior in the same design, but my order was cancelled and refunded as it was out of stock (it took a week for Dior to inform me and it did sour the experience), so I went for the Djoy. I love it, though - and it gave me a bit of extra money back which I used to get an Alma BB 🤣

This is my first new from boutique Dior purchase. We have our first Dior boutique in my town and I need to see and feel before I buy! I really needed a black bag, wanted structured, top handle bags and was 200% convinced I wanted a caviar lady Di. They finally had one with palladium HW. I took her home and tried to love her but I could not get all my usual bag contents to fit, not without removing items to reach what was on the bottom. So I returned her and looked seriously at the medium toujours black crinkled calf bhw, the black smooth calf cannage toujour ghw, and the lovely SA suggested I try the new cannage calfskin medium book tote. It’s got the lighter gold hardware and it open top so easier access and there are three quick access pockets for phone, card case and zip for safe items. It’s just slightly wider than the lady Di but still has top handles and cross body strap. I’m thrilled and it’s just a touch sportier than the Lady Di. Slightly nervous about corner wear and no feet in the bag but black is really touched up, otherwise I really wanted the canvas Plan de Paris book tote which now comes in black with black leather sides and bottom ( it’s so lovely but I worried it would show wear and I wanted a work horse bag).

Just picked up this pair of I don’t know what to call them. Sandals? The leather gives so it feels quite comfy and the zipper in the back makes it so easy to put on the shoe. I tried the flat version without the ankle strap but thought it was too flat so went with the low heel version. There are higher heel versions which I did not try.

Congratulations! It sure seems like a very practical yet elegant bag.
Actually thats the bag I’m also considering!
It looks beautiful on you! It’s a medium, do you mind me asking your height? I’m 177 (5.10?) and I want a medium too but my medium classic book tote looks bigger on me.
Is it heavy? Im also considering the canvas version of the bag because I’m afraid the full leather is too heavy.
