Chloe paddingtons... not total regret as i loved all the colors... i had a grenat, camel shopper, canelle classic, cream front pocket but developed bilateral vein thrombophlebitis so i had to sell all of them...

i did spend a lot of time though have them authenticated here at TPF!!!:p

Bags I regretted and sold:

Marc Jacobs (Navy) Stam (kisslock closure bugged me)
Chloe (White) Paddington (too heavy)
YSL (White) Muse (DROOLED over this bag, but once I had it, it was too big. Structurally, I still love it but will never buy it again)

I hope all thier current owners enjoy them!

Thinking of selling my Chanel, but I'm on the fence. I feel weird wearing it for everyday things...

So sorry, amacasa. Did the weight of the Paddingtons cause the thrombophlebitis or am I misreading your post? Not that I would be surprised... I, too, authenticated, purchased, and then sold a lovely Chloe Pad because that darn lock, while cute, made the bag weigh a freakin' TON!

I got a big red slouchy Coach bag a couple years ago because I didn't want to spend big money on such a specific color. I've barely used it. How irritating...

Most recently, I got a Balenciaga Work for, well, work. I like it and it's obviously very pretty, but it's so impractical -- no shoulder strap. Suffer for fashion...

LV Damier Azur Speedy 30: I just can't do handheld bags, it got too heavy for my liking AND I think it felt really cheap. It's just a giant hole...I need pockets!

Coach Scribble Tote: I thought it was cute at the time, but it's really hard to keep clean just overall not my style. I still think the Scribble stuff is cute in small accessories or on younger girls.

Coach Sabrina: It's a really gorgeous bag but again, I can't do handheld bags. I hated the way the shoulder strap made the bag look and it never stayed on my shoulder properly anyway.

A white Longchamp le pilage...I REALLY wanted a red one, which they didn't have and convinced myself that the white one was just as good. I LOVE the bag, but it's so dirty now and that bothers me, I can't get it clean!

I also regret buying my first coach bag, it's way too pink and too small, and my first and only juicy bag. Again, too small and not my taste now. I also slightly regret 2 of my dooney and bourke bags, but they were my first designer bags and I felt so special to have them when all of my friends were envious of me :P

have you tried washing it in the washing machine? works wonders

Two words to sum up my biggest handbag regret:

Eurobella. Collections.

I was naive and thought the Balenciaga was real. Hundreds of dollars and copious tears, calls to the credit card company who bungled it up, months of anguish, no return on the money I lost. The site has gone under, but I believe it's just changed names and still scamming people with their lies.

So sad. Hard lesson I learned.

This is why I hate all fake hanbags. I am so sorry that you got scammed. Fake handbags in general promote shady behavior, lies & theft, not to mention various other horrible things which can be found in Harper's Bazaar's "Fakes are never in fashion" article (http://www.fakesareneverinfashion.com/)The people who get ripped off buying them for theselves or loved ones truly are the victims of this crime/black market business.

A pink Chanel PST. My DH and I walked into a Chanel boutique in Vegas and I made a snap decision without doing any research. That was 4 years ago and I just recently got up the nerve to sell it. I LOVE the PST, but not pink, I'm not sure what I was thinking. Even close friends thought it was not a "me" bag. Oh well, live and learn.

the PRADA ANTIK CERVO that Ashley Tisdale kept carrying around and making me drool over

i LOVE it, but it was CRAZY MONEY (borrowed against my 401k to pay for it!)

it's so expensive its been sitting in my closet for a year ever since i bought it -- i can't bring myself to use a bag so pricey!!!

well, maybe if i move to LA i'll break it out

:)

I might get crusified for this but it has to be my birkin. It is gorgeous....but probably the most uncomfortable bag to carry I have ever owned. It has not seen the light of day in about 2 years.....but I would never sell it. So it will just have to wait for my daughter to grow up.....

At 1st I regretted my Gucci small Joy Boston becuase it was sooo small, but now I find it to be a cute bag that can actually fit more of my bare essentials then previously thought! It makes a cool "evening" bag for when I go out to dinner or run small errands.

I also at 1st, regretted my LV Azur Speedy 30 because of the light vachetta, but someone told me about Wilson's leather spray to prevent water & dirt stains & so I tried it & it dried to where you could not even tell that I applied anything to it & I find that it works really well! Yay, I no longer regret either of these two bags!

That being said I regret anything PVC (Guess) that I ever bought. Never again though!
