What to wear with damier ebene?

I don't own a bag in Ebene (yet , because I think the brown color on Ebene is quite difficult. Chiefly, I think that ebene absolutely looks best with brown shoes and belt. BUT not all brown color! Its the combination of beige and brown, that makes it difficult. Light brown shoes is perfect, but darker brown color would be wrong. Then it would be better with black.. I've seen many pictures on the 'Louis Vuitton in action' that almost make my cry. Several people should be more strict to match their attire with their bags. On the other hand, the brown color on Mono Macassar is easier to match with several brown tones and also black.

Everything! for me this is already like a neutral! And it *has* to go with everything because of the price. I really never care of combining my LV bags with anything.

I use my ebene bags with mostly solid colored clothing...kwim.
Pairing ebene with prints can get tricky at time, imho.

Agree! I don't like to match too much anyways. You don't wanna be covered in brown head to toe. I actually like bright/pastel colors and I think they go fine w/ 99% of everything. It's all about how you wear your outfits. Which bag to carry is a different story.

I tend to wear a lot of solid colours so it's never been an issue of the de pattern fighting with something else I'm wearing. Generally I only wear de in the winter, so my black wool coat looks great with the de.

I wear my nf de with everything solid color. Flower prints in pastels match better with mono. Checked prints can be tricky too but i like it paired with my checkered navy pajama dress and black heels.

Also agree! I personally match inside the bag! My cpgm that I put in my de neverfull is de as! I do tend to wear darker colours with my de items, but that’s only because I tend to stick to darks in fall and winter! I don’t available certain colours just because I’m wearing my de bag!

I know this is an old thread, but I was just wondering if people could chime in here by what they mean when they say “everything”. I am wanting specifics: pinks, blues, reds, greens, oranges, earth-tones…. Or just black and white?
My wardrobe consists of cool colors: navy, emerald green, fluorescent pink, white, aqua, purple. Is it possible for the Ebene to look good with these colors as well? Or only with the neutrals (black, white, navy, grey)?

I wore mine with everything. Solids, prints, light and dark colors… I treated DE like a neutral brown, which goes with everything.
