What started your bag addiction

My hubby bought me a leather sukey Gucci bag, and noticed the better quality with my other nine west, Charles and Keith purses that gives up on me after a year of two of usage (and I only use these bags once a week), since then I've tried other branded bags and can't stop buying..

I've known myself since my tween time I'm a bag girl coz I'm always attracted to bags. But the one that got me started on the whole designer-bag craze in Marc Jacobs Stella in 2003. I've never looked back since. :)

I believe my addiction started just after carrying a diaper bag for several years in a row. I got my first Coach and wanted more. I have always loved handbags but it was at this point (2 years ago) that I really started collecting them. I have only recently (this year) gotten away from just having Coach and trying other brands.

My addiction started about two years ago when I was admiring a coworker's coach bag. The day after Christmas that year, I bought three at outlet. From there I moved on to M by MK, and other "gateway" bags. Once I bought a guccissima sukey and Jimmy Choo, i just steadily kept increasing my price point. My mom now wishes that I never got my first coach bag (even though I've turned her into a bag lover, too :). )

A beautiful Marc Jacobs with the most awesome hardware. It was heavy. Once I became pregnant it felt heavier. I took it back to the store and now I regret it. I'm searching for that bag on eBay all the time. Then I got a Chanel and my obsession went into overdrive. Then it was a second Chanel, then Jimmy Choo, then LV. Now my addiction just needs to stop!

My LV Mezzo back in 2005. I had a brand new baby and all the diaper bags I came across were just über cheesy or just ugly. My SIL had just gotten a Coach diaper bag but it just wasn't my taste. Hubby got me my first LV and I used it for a diaper bag...for 2 boys now! And it still looks fabulous!

i started to love designer bag on 2007 and saving to buy the designer bag which i really like so much...at that time i was crazy abaout balenciaga and i thought i just want 2 designer bags in my life...balenciaga and LV speedy bag...and then my first designer bag is Gucci speedy which i bought in 2009 cause i like the crystal canvas that looks ellegant and easy to clean....then my craziness of bag started on that time...and continue to bought any other designer bags: balenciaga, bottega veneta, chanel, LV pochette, Hermes herbag and Garden Party all leather, Marc Jacob canvas neon tote, Longchamp, Alexander Wang rocco and patent leather rocco, YSL muse, Chloe marcie, and Prada canvas. Now i always think that it's not enough...i still want the LV speedy (now there's speedy b that more perfect!!!), Hermes kelly, and Prada saffiano...so 2 bags are not enough now :D and Hermes addict now growing on me...i also want Hermes watch and bracelet :crybaby::drool:

I feel the same way.. 2 Christmas ago I decided I really wanted to have an item from Coach. So my hubby bought me a wristlet and it was all down hill from there and fast... I got and sold an few more Coach bags and items and then Dooney, 2 LV and have Linea Pelle and MK. I have thinned out my collection and now have and really love my LP and MK bags. This Christmas I have a few small bags in my wish list. ;)

It started when I got a Burberry bag at Duty Free :-) I fell in love with it and ever since, Im obsessed of buying more than just one bag per brand - I have 15+ LVs, 3 Chanels, 2 Pradas, 2 Balenciagas, 1 Hermes, 1 Marc Jacobs, 2 Goyards, 1 Gucci, etc Im loving them all!

It's in my blood unfortunately! I come from from a long line of purse and shoe holics! It's a disease! Lol I knew I had it when I was 8 and when i made out my xmas list the headliner was a jordache bronze bag with the horse in the bottom right corner...31yrs later I'm still in session lol!

I would say that it was back in the day...2005 to be exact....when Kooba was all the rage. I've since sold that Kooba Sienna in Moss but continue to adore my other vintage Kooba bags. TPF is actually the culprit!

Well, my love of bags started when I was really young-probably 5 or 6-and I found my Grandma's one beaded clutch. She gave it to me because she never used it, and I loved that thing to death. I would take it everywhere with me (even though it looked absolutely ridiculous for a 6 year old to take a clutch shopping)! I became addicted to designer handbags at the end of 8th grade when I read one of my Mom's Vogue magazines and I saw a Chanel ad with a classic flap in it.
