I just pre-ordered the whiskey Edith as well. Let's see if my resolve holds until May. The more I look at it, though, the more it grows on me. In many ways, the Edith is more "me" than the Paddington, because it is just more low-key and "bookish".

May be I'm a bit too last season because I'm not on any waitlist for the ITbags nor do I want it to be because I'm not in love with them I just bought the paddy which I really love! My next bag will be a Balenciaga and a chanel. That's about it because I didn't find anything else out there I really like,

I put myself on the LV Damier Speedy waitlist, but I've decided I don't want it. I'm also on the waiting list for the B.bag, but I got tired of waiting and bought a MJ patent hobo and a YSL Mombasa instead--two for less than the price of one!

But now I saw the B.bag in cheetah from the fall/winter show... So maybe it'll be my fall bag!

i wish i had the money for the chanel reissue in grey...but i don't so maybe in like 3 years i'll magically find it on ebay and i'll get it. haha i can dream!

more than likely i think i have decided on a chanel white classic flap- caviar leather. unless they only make it in gold hardware...otherwise i might get another color. not an it bag, but always a classic!

I'm with you on this one. None of the IT bags of this season do much for me. I'm happy with my Balenciagas and Paddy. :amuse:

I preordered the Edith in whiskey last night on the Neimans website--I haven't seen one in person but there was a great picture of a model holding it in Bazaar p. 76. Looks so broken in and vintage. Won't be here until May--Impatient me can hardly wait!!

I know how you feel about nothing really sticking out for a definitive "YES"! Though I have purchased the dior gaucho in white and the Fendi Spy in Honey, and waitlisted the Muse, Edith and B Bag, I don't feel powerfully about any of them. I am selling the Dior bag and the Spy because I find the distressed white color of the Dior to be impossible to co-ordinate with anything in my closet, and the Spy, I just don't feel the passion I should be feeling for it. I love the color, but I think the price tag is more than I can stomach for that bag. I would be more convinced if I was sure that it will continue to be the IT bag of this year and the next, however I feel like its days are ending. No Spy bags on the Fendi fall 06 runway! I like selling bags rather than returning them, because that way I still stock up great credit with the stores, and then get to make someone else happy too.

i talked to my sa at neimans about the edith in grey and should be getting one when it comes in, but i already found one in whiskey, and i'm trying to decide if i should just go for it.
