I'm your size, even shorter though and for a solitaire necklace that is the size I would upgrade to. I think it is the perfect solitaire size.

I think you made the right choice. I find my 1.5 not so easy to wear on a daily basis. I'm actually thinking of changing the setting from bezel to prong to make it look a bit smaller. Not sure if it would work though....

No pics yet. It was a custom piece and it should be finished soon. I'm crossing my fingers that I will have it before the weekend (I have a Holiday party this Saturday night). I'll update after it arrives.
