so i've been stressed at work and when that happens, i shop online.

and now i am waiting for this:

i'm not sure what the name of the color is but i was drawn to the taupey color and the contrasting trim.

i thought it was a mam but i think it may be a mab. i've always had mams because i think the mab may be too big...oh well.

anyone know anything about this bag?

I was also watching this auction, but sadly decided to pass since I bought 3 RM's this week. Good to know this bag went to a loving tpf home. ;-)
 
Talinder, I can assure you that MOB is not tricky. She may have had a return or one came in that was back ordered. I had the opposite happen. Ordered mam from amazon, they confirmed twice and when I received no shipping info I called. They have none in stock and never informed me.
 
Definitely let us know what you decide! Without seeing them I probably would have said go for the MAM but there's just something about that Nikki that is sooooooooooo gorgeous! I'm jealous!! ;)

I ended up keeping the MAM :-) - I'm gonna hold off on a Nikki until spring or until I find a nikki with siggy hw! Thanks for ur thoughts!!
 
I bought a used MAC on ebay on Saturday morning. I haven't heard anythign from the seller or received notice of shipment, so I sent an email yesterday asking if it shipped & inquiring if any protectant had been applied to the bag.... I still have had no response.

Am I being unreasonable b/c I'm anxious that there's been no communication? The seller had good feedback in the past, and the shipping estimate online was receipt by 10/31, but that doesnt help me feel any better right now.
 
I totally get you Robinn. Part of the responsibility of sellers is to respond to their buyers. It can be annoying if you don't get a response. Since I'm from overseas, I only get angst if I don't get any reply after 48 hours... but I've been totally lucky that in the super many times I've bought from ebay and bonz I've sumbled upon non-responsive sellers only 2 times.

Thanks for letting me know. I've read tons of positive things about the company here on tPF. However, it's not unheard of for companies to use this as a marketing tactic - creating scarcity. Bluefly is notorious. Regardless, it worked on me. :p This reminds me, however, I've never received my shipping info from MOB. Hopefully the bag will be here in the next day or two.
 
I understand. ;) Barb is usually really quick sending out tracking info. If I were you I would email her through the "contact"'email link on her site. Hope you are thrilled with your new bag!
