Yaay purple! I have purple, hyper purple, lilac, and plum. Can't get enough of purple RM bags :)

A black Love clutch with black hardware and a Cupid satchel in Tortora. I've been searching for a Tortora bag for a while, but when I couldn't find the perry satchel or the Bowery one in that color, I ordered the Perry in petrol and I decided to go with the Cupid. I haven't seen mod shots of that bag in that particular color (come to think of it, tortora doesn't seem to be popular in other styles either) so I'm a bit anxious. Can't wait to feel it in my hands and see the color! Because of my work I usually only buy classic bag colors ( black, taupe, camel, navy, etc...) but this year it seems like I've fallen in love with colored bags, especially mini ones.:D

i have 2 bags in Tortora - a mini 5-Zip and a mini Elle with studs. to be honest, i have yet got the chance to wear any of both. i love the color, that's why i bought them. there's something else that makes me hesitate to wear them. i think the smaller bags don't suit me at the moment.

Now I'm getting worried! I hope it wasn't a bad choice. You know how there are colors you just absolutely love for your home decor & accessories and other stuff, but that you'll never wear as an outfit? I hope that's not what Tortora will be like for me. The more adventurous I went this year is by buying a Wintermint mini Avery. I really thought the color would be like the current Aloe or Tranquil but when I received it it was like neon mint. My sister calls it the "barbie bag". I haven't worn it yet because it seems weird to wear such a bright color after years of classic colors. Every time I take it out of the dust bag I get color shocked so I put it back in and wear something else. Strangely enough I have no problem wearing my MK Colette in Sun which is egg yolk yellow and just as bright.

Since I'm outside the US there is no way for me to see/touch the RM bags for myself before I purchase, so it's kinda like Russian roulette. In all the videos I've seen Tortora is a lilac grey, so I'm crossing my fingers. I guess I could always sell it or give it away to a friend or a family member if I don't like it.

what i meant was the color is beautiful. it's a pale greyish purple color which looks friendly and lovely. for me i don't wear my Tortora bags because the bags that i bought were small bags. i rarely wear small bags now. i believe the Cupid is an excellent piece. i have a Cupid and the style itself is very attractive and versatile. so, i am not worried about that. but again i don't know your expectations so i cannot say for sure.
