En route from a sweet fellow tPFer. MAM with blue zip, black dash lining, and brass HW. Her leather looks so yummy - I keep visiting the listing just to see the photos!

Kasey- got black just before I found stonewash espresso MAM, so I made myself return black. I've been telling myself ever since that I do NOT need a black MAM: after all, I have black MAB w/ matte gold and SW espresso MAMw/ silver - which might as well black.

I rationalized with this:
MAB is too big for summer around here - the MABs get more love in colder months.

SW MAM is heavenly, but more delicate than I expected- she is not going to hold up the way I'd hoped to heavy rotation.

So clearly, there is a gaping hole in my collection, right? Enter black MAM- smaller sized for summer AND more durable for heavy rotation. I promised myself I would only buy pre loved, and looked (compulsively... obsessively) at many before this one popped up.

And voila- she should be here on Thursday. I admire your patience while you wait for your new beauties to arrive...heck, three days is killing me 😝

i see. your dark grey MAM and blackcat MAB are also dark so i have an impression that you've got some blacks. ;)

hope your new bag arrives earlier than Thursday. perhaps i'm not so into bags, i have more patience for them to arrive. for my other collected items, i usually buy them in the stores locally so i don't need to wait that long lol

She arrived yesterday - a day early 😄😄😄

Lol- yes, your impression is exactly right - others are darks 😎 Also the chocolate brown MAB hobo, and the black/ rose gold Cupid- even more darks. As much as I try others, the lavender and stonewash blue are about as un-dark as mine go. But they're such artfully *interesting* darks- the texture of stonewash, the silvery sheen of OS dark grey, the edgy distressed black and buttery black cat black, the thick pebbly Cupid- and now MAM; the perfect hardware with each: brass, matte gold, silver, rose gold, light gold... The form and drape of each bag... Like black shoes, or boots: each one is special, and there is always room for one more 😅


Other than pink piping on the black cat MAB (which i never thought i wanted but really love - in dead of winter, when wearing All. Solid. Black...) there is not one other speck of neon in my world. Even the almond / cognac leathers (RMs plus others) are my favorites to look at (and stroke, and sniff), yet I seldom reach for them: the neutrals/darks always prevail.

Your blue HH, though, is spectacular. Tempting...😝😝😝

your RM bags are all gorgeous and precious. i admire that you know all of them well and appreciate diff details of every piece :tender: the leather of my HH Trophy is not as thick as some of the RM OS but it's very soft and pebbled and for that i really like. i've heard dark blue is one of the colors difficult for maintenance. mine has color transfer from the leather when it's wet. so rainy days are no good :nogood: for this bag.

AAUUUUGGGHHH you guys, I am giving myself neck strain by twisting around every 30 seconds to look out the window... My skinny MAC wristlet in Mint was supposed to be here three hours ago... UPS where are youuu???? Don't you know this is driving me crazy??

Only a few small things that I ordered from Amazon...a green skinny MAC wristlet and a Kerry laser cheetah pouch. I got them both for less than half price! Since it's summer, I have been carrying around just my Cory pouches when I go out, but I wanted something a little bigger!
